@MotherEFFingKatie I'm sorry that it is confirmed that you do have an auto immune disease. I hope that an actual diagnosis can be reached soon, and that there is a way to manage it so that you can be comfortable.
Hugs @mothereffingkatie! I hope everything works out and you get some answers soon!
Not much going on here. The adjuster is coming out today so we will hopefully get the car fixed soon. Also, had to report the car seat. They'll be paying for a new one of those as well.
baking sugar cookies tonight for LO's party Sunday and best of all... DH gets home tomorrow!!!
Hugs to @mothereffingkatie I agree with what others have said- hope you will get some answers and a good treatment plan out of this.
@sing2phins Glad to hear she is sleeping so well! My LO's room does not have a ton of toys either, but I know they fill the day with meals, naps, trips to the motor room, stroller rides, and story time, none of which require toys. I actually think it means they engage the kids more because they're not just on autopilot with a bunch of toys, KWIM? That's what I tell myself at least.
We are still in the adjustment phase of daycare... one month in. He still cries when I put him down for drop off, even though I know he really likes his main two teachers. I can tell on Wednesdays (when they leave early) that he is pissed about whoever is filling in in the room. They use floaters, all of which I have met, but since he only sees them every 2-3 weeks, he gets scared.
@MotherEFFingKatie probably not the news you wanted to hear but hope it leads to some answers for you.
@Sing2phins glad your daycare situation is an improvement. I'm in the process of touring/interviewing daycares now and it's so hard to know which will be the best fit.
I just booked my first solo trip since DD arrived: 2 days in PA for a friend's wedding. I leave Thanksgiving morning so I'll miss the day with family, but kind of excited for 48 hours of baby-free time.
DH and I are fighting. Again. So over it. Over sick babies, over being sick myself. Over. It.
Am I the only one that yells when they are fighting with their husband and he says somethings that piss you off? Because he's certainly making me feel like I am.
@MotherEFFingKatie My youngest sister was diagnosed with RA, but later found to have SLE. It's been very helpful to her to find a support group, she always feels better about her situation once she talks to other people with the same experiences. I think when you have an 'invisible illness' it's especially difficult because sometimes people really can't understand you're sick when you don't have any manifestation that they can see. Once your tests come back you may find it helpful to see about finding a community that can be your sounding board.
Party City the day before Halloweeen = nightmare. I guess we'll know from now on to anticipate this when getting stuff for A's birthday. He better literally jump with joy when he sees these balloons.
Also, this is the restaurant next to my dentist.
ETA: pic is small, it's called Super Juicy Dumpling. Not that appetizing IMO.
Yeah, Riley's is cool for older kids because they have cider pressing, twine making, archery, and little living history tours and camps. Not much for the babies this little unfortunately. You're brave to venture that far with him. When we went prebaby we got a hotel about 15 minutes away because we didn't want to drive all the way home.
I have been busy planning H & E's birthday party (being held three weeks after their birthday). Between Pinterest, Etsy and Amazon, I have ignored the Bump. My husband and I went out to BBB today and spent ridiculous amounts on convertible car seats and a new stroller. The cashier was awesome though and figured out how to combine coupons plus the twin discount. But mostly I have been obsessing over party planning.

@sing2phins, there will be transition time with everything... but I'm so glad that she's getting rest and becoming more comfortable.
We had the same situation with LO's pictures... lots of tears....

Gorgeous cool fall day here. I'm finishing up some things for T's party and praying it doesn't rain Saturday like it is supposed to.
You are most definitely not the only one.

@Sing2phins I think childcare was my hardest decision to make as a parent. I hope the new place works out well.
@CaiShov I think it's resume time for you.
