I wanted to do this ages ago and I'm sad I didn't. But some names on here make me want to know the stories behind them.

Mine's not interesting. First initial, partial last name, year I got married. Yawn.

DarwinFish was because at the time I was involved in a creationism vs. evolution debate with someone on TB. But, I generally do like darwn fish as I even have one on my car.

I created this sn about 8 years ago when I first joined The Knot. I wanted it to be easy to remember so I just used my old AIM sn from when H and I stated dating (I was 18). C is my H's first initial, J is mine. I hate the juvenile 4EVA now, but I refuse to change my sn.

Mine has absolutely nothing to do with my real name. When we were younger, my sister and I used to pretend to have alter egos and mine was Ashley, so I nicknamed myself I guess? The numbers are a real anniversary date though.

I had an old sn on TK that was basically my full maiden name. When I started posting on TB, I was older and more concerned with stranger danger, so I tried to come up with a much more generic sn. Not much story behind this one other than that I'm irish and the numbers are the numerical part of an old address (and also is St. Patrick's Day).

DH and I have known each other for 21 years, we grew up together! His mother sent me a funny email when I was like 11. It was one of those take the letter of your first name and last name and match it with the list so my M= Goober and B= doofus. Which I loved at 11 and I had a sister that passed away in 95 so the name has stuck with me ever since.

Hate to break it to you, but we already had this thread :P GTKY: Screen Name Edition When DH and I bought our home a couple of years ago, which was his father's home when he met his mother, we decided to check out the local watering hole. It is a dive bar about 15 minutes walk from our house and is where his parents spent a bit of time. This bar has a tradition that the first time you go there you decorate a dollar bill and it gets stuck to the ceiling. While we couldn't find the IL's dollar, we decided to make one of our own. Since they are the Jacobsons, we decided we'd be the other Jacobsons.

DH is a pilot and his last job they assigned everyone a call sign which is the first letter of your first name and first three letters of your last name. His just happened to spell babe so everyone called him babe and I ended up with the nickname Mrs babe all the time. 6 14 is our anniversary.
