Okay—we’ve had a few random posters whom I believe have never properly introduced themselves suddenly appear in threads, etc.
Time for you to come out of lurkum!
Since you are obviously shy, I only have a few questions for each of you:
1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
Thank you for your participation! Hopefully—we can finally get to know you!
Re: ***If you are a LURKER, GET IN HERE!***
My BFP Chart
1. When I introduced myself only a handful of people said welcome. I saw other introduction posts that had a lot of well wishes so I thought something I said was wrong.
2. I only like to posts on things that I feel i can add value to. Some posts have the same advice repeated a lot of times so I just think hearing it a 20th time is redundant. But if I have new information that I feel is helpful I will add it.
3. Time. By the time I read posts I usually don't have time to comment or start my own.
My pregnancy in 4 words: anxiety has taken over. Im always scared something is wrong. There really isn't anything concrete to make me feel that way I'm just a worrier.
I guess i don't understand the last question. sorry-long day. But i would hope im an adult.
My BFP Chart
2) My pregnancy in four words: second time, VERY sick.
3) No favorites that I can think of. Don't get a chance to spend too much time on here, but I feel that it's a great resource when I have questions because it seems like someone else usually has a similar situation and it's nice to read real-life remedies/advice (not just webmd or google).
I don't quite understand the bonus question, but I'm definitely not a "stick in the mud" type personality...

1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
I am not afraid to post, I mostly just like reading what y'all have written. I have posted a few but not much.
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
Exhausted. Sick. Happy. Excited.
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
No favorites yet.
I am a married adult. I am 21, a teacher, from Southeast Texas, and found out I was pregnant with my first baby two weeks after mine and my husband's first wedding anniversary. Today I am approximately 13 weeks and 2 days pregnant.
My BFP Chart
-I enjoy reading other people perspective on things. Most of the time someone had said my thoughts or close to them. And shy, yes, very shy. Yet, I'm a sales person for a living... I'm weird.
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
Anxiety, first, sleepy, exciting!
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
I love seeing the announcment photos and everyone's crazy symptoms! Makes my weird symptoms feel not so weird. I guess I'm an adult, but sometimes being an adult sucks!
More about me- this is my first pregnancy and I'm nervous as all get out. I am 12 weeks along and am starting to feel much, much better, today anyways. Ive been married for a little over a year.

1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
-I'm not sure if I am classified as a "lurker" or not. I have posted one question and responded to a few others, but I have been fairly quiet. I also haven't introduced myself on this board since I didn't know we were supposed to. This is my first pregnancy and I am pretty clueless about these things

2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
-one amazing exciting journey
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
Overall I would say I just enjoy reading/seeing all the updates on our growing babies
I am 25 years old (I will be 26 or close to it when my baby is born - my birthday is May 15 and my due date is May 20). I am the first of my group of friends that is pregnant so I feel kind alone in this process, which I why I come to this board. I haven't told my family yet either, but I am hoping to tell them next weekend after my NT scan

1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
because i'm not familiar with this board yet.....was already 2 months pg when i found out i was pg....i was on my other bmb from day one...i'm more comfortable there...plus with an edd of 5/7 and the dr saying i'll most likely deliver at 37-38 weeks, not sure if i should be here or april....
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
surprise, second, different, agida
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
i don't have a fave...just reading here or there....i'd say i'm an adult, but i also think that ppl have different definitions for the word adult....
more about me...i currently have a 22 month old who is driving me me nuts, but whom i love more than life...found out we were pg a week before going to disney and right smack in the middle of remodeling our house...so we're currently staying at my ils....so not surprising my bp is kinda high....ugh!
1. I guess I lurk because usually someone has already asked my question and it has been answered. I have started giving feedback recently but I work full time (HS teacher) and I have a needy dog and a busy husband so I don't have tons of time to spend on the board.
2. Sick of being sick!
3. No faves...like I said I can't spend tons of time on the board.
4. Don't understand this but I'm pretty sure I'm an adult...

@lgsdesigner Thank you! I appreciate it!
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words. Fourth pregnancy, zero live births so far. Ectopic March 2013 tube removed / IVF#1 BFN / IVF #2 BFP MC @ 6wks / IVF #3 BFP MC @ 6wks / Miracle BFP Aug 2014 EDD 5/5/15
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"? Adult. While I don't always agree with some peoples deliveries, I can respect everyone's opinions. I really just go with the flow.
1. I wouldn't say that I'm shy. I typically only add my input when I feel that I can provide something that hasn't been already said. With this many people on a board it's not often.
2. Four words to sum it up: first time excitement
3. No real favorites I just honestly love all the gifs posted. They pretty much make my day.
4. Definitely not a stick in the mud.
Some more info about me: I'm 28 years old. My husband and I have been married just over a year. I love our two dogs. And I'm an occupational therapist in which I spend most of my day with preschoolers. They say the darnest things.
2) scary. Omg. Again. Yay?
3) favorite? When crazy extended family gets talked about. It makes me feel normal with my crazy family
Idk if I am a stick in the mud or an adult?
This is baby #3 for us. And a huge surprise. This one will be born very close to DDs 1st birthday. And I feel like I'm on a roller coaster of emotions about it. I also have a DS that is 6!
1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
I'm not shy or afraid to post, I really just have no questions to ask, and like others don't want to say the same thing that has already been said. I suppose the ER nurse in me has a low tolerance for BS, or questions that you should ask a Dr....I never joined my BMB with DD either for the same reasons, but I shall try harder this time
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words. Thankful to be here
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
There are a few that I enjoy reading, and I do post in the PGAL check in and those ladies are wonderful. Adult, I love the snarkiness of this board, but I'm not sure that I can convey that via text without just sounding like a B...

I did an intro way back, but have just recently started to post more. So I've kinda been lurking for a while.
1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
At first afraid and thought this forum was full of crazy women. (You can read in the latest bullying forum that my stance changed dramatically)
I have found this forum to be a great place of support.
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
Anxious all the time. FTM and no previous m/c but it's been 6yrs TTC. Sometimes I have to really sit back and count my blessing that I'm pregnant. I wish I would have found TB during those years because it felt like hell going through monthly test and feeling like no one understood around me.
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
No favorites really. Most of the regs crack me up and keep my day interesting.
I consider myself an adult. I still like video games, so to some that could differ.
Hopefully getting to know each of you better by the next 9 months.
My symptoms have been mild, and yes that makes me lucky. The doc gave us a scare at the first appointment, but after doing radiology-clinic tests it seems like all is well.
My due date is 5/15. I'm 5/19 and hubs is 5/13.... so May is about to get even more crowded.
1) Why do you lurk? Shy or just afraid to post?
First pregnancy and I have no idea what's going on with my body...and it's scary!! I lurk to see if any one else is experiencing the same things. I'm not afraid to post, just don't want to re-post something that has already been posted, I can usually get my questions answered through previous posts.
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
Constantly worrying about everything.
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
There are lots of hilarious bumpies. I don't pick favorites.
I would like to think I'm an adult, but who knows...I could be wrong.
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words. Heartburn, nausea, and hope
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"? Not yet, but it's refreshing to see a group of intelligent women unlike some other forums. I'm an adult.
I have replied to a few posts, but I tend to be quiet until you get to know me. I am sure I will gradually become more vocal.
2) Sum up your pregnancy in four words.
Are you in there?
3) Any favorite posts or bumpies? And bonus—are you a "stick in the mud" or an "adult"?
I like the posts that are either informative or entertaining. Both is an added bonus! I find the drama pretty amusing but tend to avoid conflict unless it hits home.
Adult vs stick-in-the-mud... depends on the day!
I will be 30 in a couple weeks, have been married 3 years and have 2 fur babies. This is our second pregnancy but would be our first child. My husband is like a child heading to Disneyland in regards to the upcoming addition to the fam.
I didn't know so many women struggled with mc and/or fertility issues. As far as I know, barely any of my friends have, or we never talk about it. It's nice to know that I'm not the only person who is constantly fearful this could end any second.
Stick around!
