Prayers and well wishes requested

Hi all,

My best friend's sister just gave birth VERY prematurely to a 23 well old 1lb 6oz boy named Mason Joel.

He's in NICU and stabilized- miraculously came out screaming and breathing on his own.

Mom is completely caught by surprise and overwhelmed but also doing okay.

T&P requested that he continues to develop and grow in to a strong healthy boy.

    Best of luck to your friend and her family. I am headed to a 2nd birthday for my best friends little boy this weekend who was born at 25 weeks and was just a few ounces more than your friends baby- you would never know now that he was a micro preemie. It is amazing what the doctors and nurses in the NICU can do and how strong babies are even at such a young age. I wish your friends baby all the best.

    Big prayers heading their way! Having a preemie of my own, I know the battle ahead for your friend. You might reccomend the preemie board to her, those ladies have me the best support ever and it would be a good resource for you to be able to support your friend. :::hugs:::

    Thoughts and prayers for them! My nephew was born at 24 weeks and he is a healthy, very intelligent almost 5 year old. He looks like he will be on the defense of a football team. It's scary and hard to watch them when they are so tiny but the Team of Doctors and nurses in the NICU are amazing!!
