Weirdest super-human sense of smell experience thus far

With this pregnancy and the last one, I can smell the dirty dishes in the sink when I wake up at night. On a different floor. (No, we aren't people who typically leave dirty dishes lying around. Sometimes they don't all fit in the dishwasher).

But, by far, the WEIRDEST sense of smell thing happened to me when I was driving home from work today. My car very distinctly smelled of nacho cheese doritos. I can't remember the last time I ate them, let alone in the car. Am I smelling crumbs? Did my husband eat them when he took my car yesterday? What else could be causing that smell? What on earth?

oh my! I really hope my sense of smell does not become that keen. We will have problems!

Right now a few smells have made me queasy like the smell of car fuel.

Never before did I notice my guy having an unpleasant scent....but now I smell him everywhere. He smells like sweat and walking by his dirty clothes hamper makes me gag.

@GingerMommy315 - I know what you mean! This past weekend, I wanted to tell DH he smelled horrible and needed to take a shower. I didn't.

I have a gross one...

I seem to be able to tell how unfresh raw chicken is even when it's days before the sell by date. Fresh chicken goes through a progression of gross smells for me now before it goes bad. Before, it was easy; good or bad.
