I have had sushi multiple times. Even with DD I craved it often and gave in occasionally. I also have one small cup of coffee every morning but avoid other caffeine.
I stopped everything the moment I found out I was pregnant.. Coffee, sushi, booze, lunchmeat. The only really hard thing to stop was coffee but I drank WAAY too much prepregnancy so I looked at it as a sign haha. If I get too crazy though I'm just gonna give in. I figure the stress of freaking out about avoiding things is worse for the baby than the occasional indulgence.. With that said I am putting on my shoes and getting a turkey sandwich.. Right now.
I eat sub sandwiches a couple of times a week now, I cannot have the deli meat heated up because it makes me want to puke. So yes, I eat illegally for lunch a few times a week and it makes me really happy!!
I have caffeine pretty much daily. At first I stopped cold turkey but my dr said it was ok to have a small starbucks chai latte. I had been missing them! I also drink small amounts of regular coke (no diet coke). This weekend I really wanted a sandwich with lunch meat from one of my favorite places in San Francisco and decided to just go for it. So far all is well!
I had a migraine yesterday and was told to try a bit of caffeine. Being someone who didn't drink coffee or pop pre-pregnancy I didn't think it sounded yummy or healthy. Oh my, it was the best pop ever and it did help! I had to stop myself from indulging on it.
I'm confused, and now freaking out. I read about the deli meat but didn't think twice about it because I never buy deli meat. But does this consider ALL cold meat? Like the cold turkey they might put on your sub at Subway
