Not getting sex

sorry if this is too much info. But I've had increased libido and my husband never wants to have sex with me anymore. Have only had it 5 times this whole pregnancy. And it just makes me feel really self conscience about how I look and weight gain. I thought it was supposed to be the other way around. ?!?

Idk about your Dh but mine is freaked out by pregnancy.

For one hes afraid hes going to squish the baby. Hes also worried hes going to somehow mess something up with the baby by having sex with me.

Maybe your Dh has some irrational pregnancy sex fears to.

My DH is nervous about the pregnancy sex too. I also have battery operated friends that make everything ok. Check out your local shop or I recommend having a Pure Romance party. Their stuff is great and are soooo much fun!

Hubby and I have had sex, maybe 5 or 6 times since getting pregnant. The first trimester, neither one of us saw much action. Not for lack of trying, I just was either too sick or too tired; even just to get hubby off sometimes and he was the same - too tired from pulling a 12-14 hour work day. This trimester has been so much better, but I'm noticing more and more that hubby is happy just to get me off sometimes, idk why. I have a few different "B.O.B's" that I've used if he's at work and I need it bad. The last time we had sex, baby kicked me in the cervix, which in turn hit "just the tip" of him and that kinda ruined the mood for a minute. But I don't think the pregnancy, or my size, has anything to do with our lack of intimacy. I think its a lot of factors; not enough sleep, too nauseated, too busy after work, got home too late, etc. And maybe that may be the case for you and him as well. I wouldn't take it too personally as its quite common for the bedroom to feel a little too unused during pregnancy due to a number of different reasons.

I've always been afraid of having one that plugs into the wall. That's a lot of power running through something touching my vag. I had nightmares when I was single that it would malfunction and electrocute me and someone would discover me in a compromising position. Yeah, I realize I'm nuts. Don't judge me!

We do it at least once a week and have determined that doing it in our armless chair is the most enjoyable. We moved I E up to our bedroom from the living room aolely5for that purpose... Miracle position. No pressure on me and the girls, no pelvis pain... Perfect...

DH and I had been having scheduling issues. During the 1st tri both of us were not interested because of irrational fears of hurting the baby. When we got to 2nd tri and felt like we were in the clear finally, I felt like he never wanted it. Turns out he just has zero motivation at the end of the day, when I wanted it and felt bad waking me up in the morning when he wanted it because he wanted me to get my rest. I just told him "for God's sake please wake me up!!" And we've both been happier for it.

@foxslaw same here--last night I was in tears because I started to initiate but DH wasn't in the mood and then, once I was sleepy and about to conk out, he was ready and I had to turn HIM down...didn't help that I was just tired and feeling unattractive to boot.

Same here. I had a dream last night that DH ended up cheating on me in a bathroom with some chick at the All Blacks rugby game coming up that he's going to (with his rowdy rugby boys). I told him about it this morning jokingly and we laughed, but I went for Chinese at lunch and get the fortune cookie "An unusual dream will come true." Seriously WTF is up with that?

Wow, I don't feel near as bad anymore... SO and I weren't living together till a month ago, so sex was maybe once every two weeks, but now it's been one to three times a week. He's complained a little about not getting much, but I've been pretty stressed and really tired. He said he understands and it's not a complaint though.

We were talking the other day though and I mentioned something about giving the baby "shaken baby syndrome" in the womb (I forget the context, but it was in humor), and he made a face and was like, "What if we give it shaken baby syndrome while having sex?" It was funny.

I had to beg, seriously, beg DH to let me be on top the other night. We've barely done it since BFP and I just couldn't handle anymore bad sex. It took me awhile to convince him we weren't hurting the baby and have some decent sex, but I woke up sore haha, I can't win no matter what I do.

My husband wants it like alllll the te. Honestly I'd rather take care of myself then care about his pleasure too. ( selfish much lol) so we try for 3 times a week at least. Does anyone else get grossed out when h touches your belly during sex? Somehow his hands always find his way there and it's a total and complete mood kill. He says he's grabbing my hips but I think he has some belly fetish. Creepy.

This makes me feel a lot better as sex is not something that's even close to being discussed. I think maybe we have had it once. Not sure if my DH wants it or not, but we don't talk about it..and I don't have a drive so I'm ok with that. Thanks for starting the post and letting me feel normal.
