Like a light switch

Today I have reached six weeks and guess what hit?! Morning sickness! I was in the shower and started to feel pretty nauseated. I grabbed some crackers and ginger ale and got in bed.. About two minutes later I threw up on myself! I've heard people say that once you hit six weeks morning sickness will happen... They weren't lying! It was literally like a light switch!

    I'm 6w6d and other than small bouts of nausea here and there, I haven't gotten too bad. My mom did say when she was pregnant with us kids, she'd only experience MS until about week 8 and never got sick, so I'm hoping that's a trait that's passed on! Otherwise, I've seen a lot of women post here that their vomiting didn't start until around wk 7 so.... I guess I'll find out. Now that i think of it though, these cucumbers smell terrible to me right now.... :-S

    Ahh, that makes me nervous. I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. I woke up today and felt a little "off" definitely got a wave of nausea but it went away when I ate thankfully. However, thinking back to my pregnancy with DD I'm fairly certain that I got hit with the nausea hard around 6-7 weeks. Try small snacks and having crackers or something to settle your stomach when you wake up. That helped for me.

    I haven't had any morning sickness, but this morning nausea hit me like a brick. From about 4:00am-6:30am I was dry heaving and felt awful, though I never actually got sick. Luckily, I'm feeling better now that I am at work. Looks like I can hide my pregnancy from my coworkers another day! I'll be 6 weeks on Wednesday.

    I'm 6w today and with DS that's when MS hit me (like a light switch here too @hkramer122009). DH and I are flying home from Mexico today so I'm praying it stays away at least another day. But it can stay away as loooooong as it wants ;)

    Same thing happened to me! Exactly six weeks and I was yacking. I'm hoping this means at exactly twelve weeks it'll stop!

    Haven't actually thrown up yet just a lot of nausea. Some dry heaves when I brush my teeth but that's about it. Good luck to you all out there.
