1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from. Susie or WVaRn from WV
2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?
TTC #2 for me #3 for DH Started TTC when we got married July 2014.
3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
Temping, but not having nearly enough BD. So hoping that if I can temp and know when I O we may be able to time it better.
4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? Day 7 of cylce, started temping only done it 2 days so far.
5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) Hopeful this cycle because I did start temping hoping to know more of when I actually O.
QOTW: What is your pet peeve (Bump or IRL)?
My biggest pet peeve right now is when DH cuts his hair and leaves the hair all over the bathroom floor. He buzzes his hair off and stands right in front of the bathroom mirror. He will just leave the little pile of hair stubble right there on the floor right in front of the sink and mirror. And if I say something to him about cleaning it up he will throw a towel over it. So not only do I have hair all over floor but now it is all over the towel and gets in laundry if I don't notice it in time.
My DH leaves hair, too! Here is a typical day at my house:
Me: I just cleaned the bathroom.
DH: *fills sink with whiskers*
Me: 38 DH: 40 TTC#1 (and likely only) since 9/13. Saw RE 5/14, SA good, AMH 2.36, FSH 7.2, estradiol 69.6 indicating good egg reserve. Using OPKs. First Letrozole cycle 6/14, a burst cyst and a BFN. Second Letrozole cycle 7/14, BFN.
Update 11/14 - had laparoscopy 10/28, good news is that my uterus and left tube look good, and they were able to drain the cyst on my left ovary. Bad news is that right tube and ovary have endo and scar tissue, so they're pretty useless.. Best news is that we finally have some answers and a path forward. Taking 7.5 mg letrozole CD 2-6 to put that good left ovary through its paces.
UPDATE 2/2015 - We switched to another fertility clinic, but fortunately we don't have to start all over. We're doing two cycles of Clomid plus IUI, if neither of those take, we'll do IVF in April, potentially with ICSI. (DH's SA has gone downhill, likely due to excessive exercise.) IUI#1 2/25/15....
1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from.
Heather, MN
2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.? TTC #2 for while now -- stopped breastfeeding in March, been on the bench for last couple months, but FINALLY moving forward!! YIPPEEE!!!
3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE? NEXT CYCLE - baseline ultrasound, Femara 7.5 mg x 5 days, trigger, sex.
4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww? Stopped birth control, excitedly awaiting my period <-- never ever thought I'd type that statement!
5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc) I'm hopeful now that we're moving forward.
QOTW: What is your pet peeve (Bump or IRL)? IRL - so much! Hubby leaving random crap that has it's place lying around the house, people who drive slow in the "passing" lane even when people are passing them on the right, people who always play the victim and expect others to fix things for them... on and on. No wonder I'm anxious!
Bump - Drive-by BFPs for sure! Even when I was lurking and not participating on any board, this bothered me. Now that I've become semi-involved on this board and TTCAS, it bugs me even more!
Feel free to add any vents or shout outs.
@URMySunshine77, I think your progesterone sounds okay (though I don't have a ton of experience), but I'm unclear how CLOMID is going to help low progesterone anyway. I think you're on the right track with finding a RE. Keep us posted.
Also, shout out to ALL who were so kind and supportive to me while I was benched and worried about my TTC hopes.
*** Child & current pregnancy mentioned ***
Me - 41 (PCOS), Hubby - 43 (healthy)
7/2013 - Sweet baby girl born (Clomid + TI)
3/2014 - TTC #2, return to RE 7/2014
12/2015: IVF #1 transferred two great looking embryos - BFP!
First ultrasound: TWO beautiful little heartbeats!!
Harmony: negative; level 2: babies look great and are boy/girl!
Heath&Jas: I'm glad that you can move forward again! Thanks for the shout-out. I'm not opposed to taking monitored Clomid if that is what I actually need.

1. Your Name or Screen Name (not full names) and State you are from.
Tinkerred19788, MO
2. How long have you been TTC? Are you TTC #1,#2,#3, etc.?
TTC #1 since August. One previous loss in 2013.
3. What are you doing this cycle? Are you seeking help with a fertility specialist (RE)? If so, what stage are you in? Charting/temping? Testing? Medicated cycles? IUI? IVF? DE?
Charting, IUI slated for December.
4. Where are you in your cycle? (Waiting to O, 2WW etc) If in the 2ww when will you test? Experiencing any weird "phantom" symptoms ladies in your 2ww?
CD 25.
5. How do you feel about this cycle? (Are you hopeful, anxious... etc)
Anxious. After my loss last year my BF and I broke up. I have since decided to go it alone. OBGYN has me charting ovulation for 3 months in prep for IUI. This is month two and I am trying to be patient.
QOTW: What is your pet peeve (Bump or IRL)?
IRL: drivers who don't use blinkers. Are they really that hard to turn on?
Also, incorrect spelling and bad grammar.
Late to the game. It's been a crazy week, with more to come!
1. Khaleesi, from Canada
2. TTC #3 since March, with one loss @11wks on Sept 1.
3.Temping/charting.
4. I'm late. One day. I'm 15dpo now, testing negative all week. Some slight spotting this morning and yesterday morning, but that's it.
5. Having moments of faint hope (since I'm never late), followed my hours of wallowing. Our timing was really good this month, and next month DH will be traveling for two nights in the middle of my fertile window...
Pet peeve:
Add me to the grammar club. I've unfollowed people online because I can't cope with their horrible spelling or grammar.
I'm also sad that we don't have a dollar store here that carries cheapie tests. I ordered some online a while ago, but am down to my last few. It takes them forever to get here by mail, so I'm predicting an expensive week ahead...
Shout out to everyone who is in the 2WW, and congrats to those who got their BFPs!
I'm new and also late to the party. Love reading everyone's updates, though! What a great, supportive group. 1. betch78 in VA 2. This is cycle #1 TTC #2 3. I'm temping, using FF, OPKs and supplements. I just stopped breastfeeding my DD and also gave up caffeine and alcohol (for the most part...) And of course, doing the BD. 4. 3 dpo.... the wait has begun. (Insert Jeopardy theme song) 5. I'm hopeful. QOTW: I'm so new to message boards on The Bump, that I don't have any yet. But really bad spelling and grammar is annoying online in general. A big pet peeve IRL is travelers who bring excessive carry on bags on flights. And complainers.Good luck, ladies!
TT#1 for a year, still trying naturally, and if this month passes BFN I'm going to talk to the RE about lap surgery. but I just keep thinking I'll get pregnant by the end of the year, I mean 2014 my new years resolution was to get pregnant, a year can't end without?!
today is CD7, finally trickling. they say the cycle should be starting with an Ocean, then a River, then a stream. It is the case for me so I guess that's good.
Hopeful for this cycle, I've hit a new emotional wall where I officially cried when I got AF last weekend, and cancelled going to a baby shower.
Here is my peeve, which is really a rant, which is that "friend" (really my husband's friend's wife) sent me a text saying it was too bad I was feeling bad about getting AF (I told her because I thought she would understand as she had tried 1.5 years), but a shame because I was "catered for." Who the fuck says that?! As if me being there and eating the food would have been ok, but if I told her my vulnerability and how I couldn't be there to celebrate with her, and she brings up Catering aka Money aka who the fuck says that?! We had a little text exchange where I was starting to sob, shocked at her insensitivity, and being very demure (choosing not to fight) she writes back basically telling me to relax and I'll get pregnant, like she did. I was so pissed but I chose my battles and texted back " Ok I appreciate the advice. " HA!
So... she is not my friend. A friend would never bring up how I was catered for as an issue. I mean, if someone couldn't make it to my wedding b/c they were sick, or whatever, and I said "Oh pity you didn't make it, I paid for your plate."
Stuck at home this evening doing work.
Love to all of you! May we all be lifted up out of here into the world of BFP.
It's going to be awkward next time
TTC#1 since Aug 2013, I'm 37, DH 41.
Maya Arvigo Abdominal massage (daily self care), plus TTC meditations.
I'm very sensitive to diet (gluten, avoid processed foods) and environment. Have a history of inflammation and tendinitis before going off gluten in 2009.
July 2014 - RE Visit #1: Eggs look good, Endometrioma on R ovary, HSG showed blocked R tube close to ovary. DH SA normal
DX: Endometriosis probably the IF cause and gunking up tubes. Since egg reserve is high, RE says I can wait a couple months and then get laproscopic surgery to remove endo & clear tube. If that doesn't help then move to IVF.
Dec 2014 - Saw new RE - does not recommend surgery on tube as it isn't likely to help. Doubts I have endometriosis. My endometrioma shrunk to neglible size (yay!)
Oh @Radiantly that is brutal. Adding insult to injury for sure, especially since you made the decision to be open about why you just couldn't be there. Try to shake it off, but that would have upset me too. Well done on taking the high road, though!
@Radiantly
Tres tacky!!!!!!!! In shock myself. What if you had a toothache or a stomach ache or strep throat? or...sh*t happens. I would have been a little tart back and say something like, "Oh, I didn't realize you guys were struggling. Would you like me to give you $25?" Lame sauce. But, you sound sweet... Don't let it it get you down.
TTC#1, I'm 37, DH 36 | Just started trying Sept 2014
Going in for first RE appt. in October...Preparing for good or bad news.
Trying to be chill about the process...and not get too intense about it all.
yea, i took the high road - felt really good. the shower was hosted by 3 people, her sister in law and other family, so WTF it wasn't even about the money I don't think. Second, I went on FB for 2 seconds (I quit 2 months ago but reactivate every couple weeks just to see the list of crap and feel good about quitting b/c it's all babies) and saw pictures of the shower, I am SO GLAD I didn't go. ew!

Radiantly Sounds like she is very inconsiderate. I had a "friend" who hurt me once over a baby shower. We had both got BFP at same time in 2009. I lost mine to MC @ 8wks. She ended up carrying hers to term and set her baby shower on what would have been my due date, and she truly did not understand why that upset me and why I did not attend. We are no longer friends. Sometimes for sanity's sake you have to cut ties with negative influence in your life.
And @northernkhaleesi love your username and sorry about the temp drop.
I've had the same temp for the last three days - it's decently high but weird that it hasn't changed at all. I'm 9DPO today so I'm going to try REALLY hard to wait until Thursday to start peeing on all the things.
@WinoGrrl good luck on the waiting. I'm horrible at it.

Off Mirena Nov 2013, On Nuvaring end of Jan, Back off Sept 2014. Never ending cycle starting end of Sept...
11/14 Provera failed... cycle continues
12/14 High FSH (57 "midcycle") OBGYN had no clue... about anything
01/15 More lab results coming back from RE. U/S showed small (1")cyst on left ovary, thin lining, and couldn't locate right ovary so possibly straight to DE and IVF
Occassionally mess with the chart below to see "what if" and learn (not to make it pretty but because FF stays drunk with me).
@WinoGrrl I'm 9 DPO too, and I told myself last week that I was going to try to wait it out until Friday. That would give AF all of Thursday to show up if she's gonna (if my last cycle 11-day LP stays the same). We'll see how well I do with that plan...
@vh2014 i swear i'm usually a patient person but TTC has flipped a switch and I want everything NOW!!!!
Me too. Just started temping (At CD 29 and is now cd 32)- no downward movement in 4 days, still no af,and frustrated so I poas using the excuse of wanting to make sure it was still safe to drink at my conference. I didn't post so there was noone to say "step away from the stick". Still negative of course. Patience is a virtue I must have outgrown....

Hang in there all you >35 sisters in the 2WW!! I'm 5 DPO now and *trying* not to obsess. Not very successfully. Halloween and an out-of-town guest should be a nice distraction, right? We'll see...

Just so everyone knows I'm chart stalking everyone with a link. lol this is my first cycle charting so I'm obsessed with seeing everyone's charts. And I get so excited when I see green on anyone's chart. I can't wait to see green on everyones.
10DPO and a temp drop this morning. boo. I did go to sleep at a completely different time / woke up earlier than usual plus I'm all congested with a runny nose. Hoping that caused the drop and not that AF is getting ready to show her ugly face this weekend. blah. i've managed to get my hopes up WAY too high this month for some reason. just whining here so i don't unload it all on DH when I get home tonight. (
@WinoGrrl What's your LP usually? My temp stayed exactly the same as yesterday this morning, but last month at 10DPO I was still hopeful too. It slid down on 11DPO and then at 12DPO a bigger drop and AF.
So...I am holding onto hope anyway! And you should too! Sleep patterns being thrown off can totally affect your BBT, not to mention congestion, and likely mouth breathing. You're not out yet!
@wvarn if you want, you can friend request people on FF. If you do this you can change your name on there to match your bump name. Chart stalking is a great way to get to know people and get used to looking at charts.

@tmorash - I only confirmed O last cycle but my last two cycles before that were the same length. Last month I hit 14DPO before AF showed up. And I just figured out how to overlay last month's chart with this month's chart and they look completely different, lol! Here's hoping for both of us!!!
I only confirmed O last cycle and this one too, so I only have one LP to go on (11 days). My post-O temps this cycle and last are *very* similar. In fact, if I pin this cycle on CD15 (although FF says I Oed on CD16), the progression is spookily similar. I don't know whether to find that hopeful or what, but it is noticeable.
I'm trying to hold out until Friday to test. I figure it's likely that if AF is coming she'll be here by then, so I might spare myself the heartache of the BFN.
@winogrrl - don't give up hope yet. Your sleep was thrown off. And it's possible to have a temperature dip around the time of implantation. See what happens tomorrow. It might just go back up.
Thanks everyone. I'm dealing with a whole lot of crazy at work these days. Extra special crazy. I haven't been around much, but am lurking and keeping up to date.
Good luck to everyone nearing the end of their 2WW. I hope there are lots of graduates this weekend!
URMySunshine77 - yay for cycle buddies?!?!?! Maybe we can be baby buddies too! :-)
@WinoGrrl How's the temp today? Mine dropped. It's eerily similar to last cycle especially when pinned ast CD15 (tried to upload the overlay image but no dice) so I guess that's probably it for me. No AF yet, but my heart has dropped too.
