Question- are you buying the little baby legging things for your LO? I found some cute ones for boys but I'm wondering how exactly do you wear these? With just a onsie? Is November too cold for a onsie and baby leggings or are these more summer type things?
I just had cheesy perogi's, tostitas and salsa, and homemade(by DH not me) pumpkin icecream for dinner. I fed my 2yr old cheesy perogi's, banana chips, and a greek yogurt. Super healthy!
Told you all I was declaring a lazy day for myself today! Haha.... poor DH is going to come home from work and have to scronge around for dinner....
@silverwings72@wildflower1224@smboswell1@mgg242 Thank you ladies... I'm noshing on my last night of eggplant parmigiana and watching Clue. If cheesy Italian goodness doesn't make me feel better, im sure cheesy 80s comedy will. Hoping everyone has a good Saturday night.

I love BabyLegs, DS totally rocked them as an infant. We used them with a onesie in place of pants. Especially handy if you cloth diaper, since fluffy butts are hard to get pants over. And regardless if you cloth diaper or not, I love that you don't have to remove them to change diapers.
Hi ladies! Back from shopping with MIL. I didn't really buy anything, but she got lots of birthday/Christmas shopping done so that's good
DH and I got the car seat installed this morning. We were standing outside with the instructions and attempting to put it in when a neighbour with two kids came and helped us out. We clearly looked helpless. I'm glad that job is done.
Also, I am most definitely not a unicorn- I just use my appliances and their timers to their full potential
@KUinCBUS I'm gal your DH is doing better. Allergic reactions can be scary.
@hidingangel82 ((hugs)) I'm sorry you're feeling depressed. Don't feel badly about wanting to get back on your meds, I'm pretty sure that's a normal feeling. You're almost there!
@smboswell1 congrats on the new family member! It will be nice for Beckham to have someone so close in age.
@silverwings72 I registered for some of those baby legs and someone bought them off my registry but I never got them. I think they would be okay for inside during the winter, but I'd definitely put pants on LO if I was going out. I think they're adorable!
@jillybean7582 I agree about the water breaking in the tub thing. A friend had that happen and she didn't know. That being said she was already in fairly active labour. Also, I agree about the K'tan. I'm about a clothing size 6/8 normally and I'm getting the small so the xs should be good for you. I hear they stretch!
I was up at 4:00 am with contractions that would come anywhere between 5-15 min apart.. Finally around 8:30 they started to subside some. So frustrating!! the rest of the day has been off/on as well.. I just want sleep tonight!!
I'm feeling all the feels today. I guess two weeks is when the exhaustion is hitting me. For the first time I cried because my mom isn't here to talk to. Then I cried later because I started pumping and one boob pumps near nothing and my little girl is losing weight and it feels like I can't give her what she needs. All normal and will be fine but man, the feels!

Big hugs! I know how hard it is to be missing your mom, especially right now. I can only anticipate all the crying I'm going to be doing once LO is here. Just know that she would be over the moon happy for you and so happy to have a granddaughter. If you need to chat I'm here. Xx

Hugs momma!!! I remember the feelings and I'm sure I'll be going through the same here soon again!! Just remember you are doing great and working hard to give her what she needs!! It will get easier, it's just part of the process!

@Lilwatz - I'm so sorry >:D< Hugs to you as you navigate through motherhood. I think it is completely normal that you miss your Mama right now. We are here for you :x

I put them under DS's pants in the winter. Baby pants tend to be thin and ride up around the ankles (especially if you wear them in carriers), and if you're in a cold climate their legs can get really cold. The baby legs were key for us last winter! We actually used the larger size more because he wore fuzzy sleepers most of the time as a newborn, but once he started wearing pants we added the babylegs.

I'm not complaining, but I see all this talk about contractions, cramps, etc. I'm 38+1 today and nothing. I'm not dilated, she hasn't dropped and aside from a BH contraction that's sort of painful (kinda) every once in awhile (never more than one at a time) I've got nothing. Im truly ok with this, but anyone else this close with nothing???
I'm 37 weeks and I've got nothing. Baby hasn't dropped, just some period -like cramps once or twice a day. I have a feeling LO will be going past his EDD. Eh. He will have to come out eventually, right?
@Lilwatz...you are doing such a great job and I know your mom would be so proud of you. I'm sure Chloe thinks you are the best mom in the world too. Hugs, momma!
I'm currently watching Chucky (the killer doll movie)... not gonna lie, this stupid movie scares me! I guess the plus side to insomnia = no nightmares?
@Lilwatz I am so sorry and I am sure she is there with you. I knew it can be hard. I will have a hard time with this also. Even tho my mom is still alive she is mentally not there and calls regularly to ask when my due date is, last Sunday when I saw here she said she had no clue "how pregnant" I really was.. I know it is hard and in send tons of mommy love your way.
@shaddox16 I have nothing either. I barely have BH but I have cramping from time to time. The doc said I was a hard 1cm dilated. Pretty sure I'll go past my EDD too.. They can't stay in there forever!! . Come out come out where ever you are!!
All of these post baby posts are getting to me.. I feel like I am so far away from needing this information, it makes me sad.. Looks like I am going to be doing a lot of searching when the time comes.
@mrsc430 I get scared by the most non-scary movies!!!
I am also a member of the "nothing happening over here" club. 37w 1d and no symptoms or signs that baby girl is coming any time soon.
My rant for today... DH was a rockstar today and did so much around our apartment cleaning, setting things up for LO and telling me to just take it easy.
I asked him if we could do a date night tonight and he said no, he just wanted to finish stuff up here.
Then around 8:30 he told me he was going to go out with his guy friends if that was ok. I said yes, but told him I was hurt that he didn't want to go out with me but could go out with his friends to a bar. Then he got mad, left in a huff and I got all emotional. Damn.
So much pain and pressure tonight. I feel like I just had a 100 mile bike race because my pelvic bone and legs are hurting so bad.
I have no idea how I'll know that I'm actually in labor with all the different pains this pregnancy has offered. Does everyone lose their mucus plug or have bloody show in early labor or can I be in active labor without ever seeing any of it?
I'm with you other moms...I'm terrified that I won't know when it's "go" time. I also keep hearing everyone say make sure you get to the hospital in time or you won't be able to get an epidural. Umm...Ok. Thanks for that.
I'm not sure which I would prefer at this point. The no BH, cramps, pain club or the uhh I hurt all the time club. :-S

I had no bloody show and I didn't see my mucus plug with DD. My water just broke and everything happened pretty quickly after that. Everyone is different though!
So DH and I made it to the Kevin James show (yay), but I bailed on going out for dessert afterwards because the pain was back. DH said he knew I was in bad shape when I turned down dessert, so I called the doc.
I was honestly thinking my gallbladder or appendix was on the fritz! but based on my description the doc didn't think so. She said prob a musculoskeletal issue due to baby's position, so she told me to soak in the tub and take some Benadryl and get some rest.
Hoping for a better pain-free day tomorrow. As DH likes to say, "This baby is kicking your ass!"
1. DS and I are planning a lazy cartoon watching day today. I ran a bunch of final baby prep errands yesterday, went to my weekly dr appt, got my niece's b-day shopping done (her b-day is on Thanksgiving this year), organized and sanitized all my pumping supplies, breast feeding stuff, and baby bottles, and did all the laundry. And also went into work for 2hrs on my day off to wrap up last minute items on a project. So I am not going to feel guilty for having a lazy cartoon filled day at home with DS today. Only item on my to do list is work on cloth diaper prep and stripping which doesn't take too much physical effort just time consuming.
2. While taking an epsom bath last night I got to thinking about how I will know "IF" my water breaks while laboring at home. I plan to spend alot of time in the bath laboring before heading to the hospital when the time is right. I am now irrationally worried my water will break while in the bath and I won't know it. They broke my water at the hospital last time so i have no personal reference to what it felt like to happen on its own. Ladies who's water broke on its on did you 'feel' it or was the wetness/liquid gush/trickle your only indication?
3. I have an Ergo Carrier but want to get a K'tan for when baby is smaller (first 6ish months or so) but I can't seem to pull the trigger on buying one because I am unsure if I should get a extra small or a small. My pre-pregnancy dress size was a 4 or 6 depending on brand so I am in between sizes. It says to size down if in between but I am obviously not going to be fitting in my pre-pregnancy size right after birth so I am afraid the XS might be too small to use right away. Such a FW Problem.....
I actually felt my water break and heard it. There was definite pop.
Well so much for sleep tonight. I thought with Addison not napping she would sleep great. Instead she's a puke bucket currently. She's hysterically crying and throwing up and a coughing mess. I'm giving her a nebulizer treatment in hopes it will help.
Oh no!! Poor baby. Sending her all the hugs and get wells!!!
Well nebulizer failed, she puked into in..she keeps saying sorry for throwing up. I cuddLing her now and tried to give her a towel and she said "no mama, my throw up is going to sleep in my belly. I don't want to see it anymore."
Awww, that is the saddest thing I've ever heard, poor little girl

Poor kid I hated throwing up when I was a kid. Make sure you both get lots of rest and fluids >:D<
My app has been messed up but I am home now and able to post! I went to a Halloween party and the me and the nanny gang dressed up like peter pan characters. I was Smee:)
I have been miserable today. I can hardly walk and forget lifting my legs for anything. I honestly feel like this baby is about to just fall out of me. I am in bed and drinking hot chocolate! Lets hope I can sleep tonight!
@FhSTAR81 FX she is all better tomorrow and ready for naps again.
I'm also in the club of not noticing any signs that baby is ready or getting ready to show. I don't think I've felt any BH and while sometimes my bump feels tight it generally coincides with baby pushing and hanging out up front. So I'm hoping I will actually notice early labor contractions since I'll need the IV for antibiotics (GBS+), but that my water doesn't break until the last minute to up my chances of still delivering at the birth center.

That is the saddest/sweetest thing! I'm so sorry she's not feeling well!! Hopefully she gets some rest soon and it ends fast!
