Stopping by to drop a major TMI random....I tried to shave my vagina (aka hoohah) yesterday and of course have decided fu*k that ish from now on. Can't even see anything down there with my flub bump and I'm NOT trying to shave anything off! Sooooooo does anyone have any good trimmers they recommend for this sort of thing? Or should I just give up?

My randoms -
Yesterday I went to Starbucks to get my favorite treat coffee and current daily craving. A peppermint mocha (who needs a pumpkin spice latte when you can drink a cup full of Christmas??) I wait in the long line, and I get up to the counter where the girl tells me they don't have peppermint yet. Huh?? I thought they always had peppermint? I get it all the time. Instead of asking her to double check, I held back tears and walked away. Dramatic, I know.

Finally found another Starbucks, got my Decaf peppermint mocha around 5pm. It was amazing. And it made me happier than anything should. Had a stressful and tiring evening. Got home late, finally got DS into bed around 9 (gasp!) relaxed, watched my shows, went to bed and was up til 2am!!!! Decaf my ass! How can I ever trust another barista??

During my late night TV watching, the movie trailer for the oija board movie came on about 10 times!!! I used to love scary movies when I was young, but now I just can't enjoy them and I certainly don't want to see the trailers on late night TV when H is out of town

He's back now so don't even try to come and kidnap me.

I've been feeling LO move every day now. Sporadically during the day, but always at night, it's the best!!!!!

Oh and that lullaby business skrittens mentioned is the cutest thing I've ever heard. And I'd be sobbing if I was there. When I was in labor with DS, I was walking the halls trying to progress. And it was wild to walk past rooms and hear dr's counting and women pushing and trying their hardest, and the next time I'd walk by, I'd hear that sweet little newborn cry. It was really emotional for me. And I'm getting emotional now just thinking a out it.

Congrats on successful A/s today, lots of boys!! Good luck to everyone who still have appts!

@melleasndrs Brazilian waxes will be your best friend. They're not that bad just go where someone you know can vouch for their skill. I did them my whole pregnancy last time and again now. Keeps everything nice and clean and no getting shaved in the hospital! I wouldn't go near my lady bits even with a trimmer, that's too dangerous. Only other option is have your SO do it, but I'd be nervous about that too!

@JenLa21 as a former Starbucks barista, I'm going to tell you that Starbucks has peppermint syrup year round, and should have been able to make you your peppermint mocha. That being said, here are a couple things that the barista *might* have meant by we don't have peppermint mocha yet: 1) they are currently out of the syrup, and will probably get some in the next couple days (this happens frequently with high demand drinks, especially during holiday season); 2) she's new, and didn't realize that she could have sold it to you; 3) the button for peppermint mocha isn't in the register yet, so *technically* they can't sell you a peppermint mocha, but could have charged you for a regular mocha with peppermint. The only real difference between the actual drink is that it gets little chocolate curls on top of the whipped cream.

Summary: except for the specialty syrups (pumpkin spice, caramel brulee) Starbucks can almost always make any "seasonal" beverage, you just have to ask

@mrsanders2013‌ thanks for the info, I have definitely enjoyed my peppermint mocha year round, I was so caught off guard when she said it and I was in a stressful moment in my day and I just broke. I'm sure she just didn't know.

I got one today (yay) and I started off by asking if they have peppermint, and the lovely lady there told me they have it all the time. So now I know I just need to ask and make sure first.

The Marysville shooting is about 30 miles away from me. I have friends in the area, but thankfully, their kids go to another high school. I burst into tears when a local reporter was talking to a witness, who had just seen her friend shot dead in front of her.

And I just can't with people's knee jerk reactions to this. If after hearing about a tragedy like this, your first reaction is to post a diatribe, defending guns, while doctors are still trying to save the lives of the critically injured, you need to gain some fucking perspective and empathy. This is NOT the fucking time.

My SO & I are getting married next Sunday at the municipal building in my town. We've only invited our parents & siblings because we'd like to keep it small. We're planning on having them come to the house to eat & hang out afterwards.

Today my SO's mother told him she wants to throw us a "party" since we're getting married and this way people can give us money! Really...what the fuck? So you want to invite a bunch of your friends and relatives to a "party" to celebrate the wedding we had and didn't invite them to?? Don't forget...they all need to bring a gift! I told SO this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard, not to mention extremely rude. SO already told her absolutely not so she better not try to pull this shit.

Finished my appointment which turned out to be my a/s appt - as far as looking at all the measurements and the hearts. They're measuring a little ahead, 7 & 8 oz and my cervix looks good and no funneling. Only thing that's on my brain is he specifically mentioned the 4 chambers of the heart on baby a but not on b. I'm not trying to 'borrow trouble' and will just assume that everything looks good means just that. And it's still 2 boys!

I don't remember everyone who needed hugs, But you all get them if you need (or want) them. I don't post on randoms a lot, but that doesn't mean I don't think of you ladies.

Afm, I'm getting excited for my a/s next Friday, but nervous, too. My heart is set on a girl, and I don't want to feel all depressed if it's a boy. I'm trying to think of how awesome having two boys would be, and that helps some, but I feel like a jerk for wanting a girl so bad, and I'll feel even worse if it's a boy.

On a lighter note, I've got a delicious pork chop meal going in the crock pot for dinner and now my house smells AMAZING. I've never made pork chops so I'm excited for how this will turn out.

@melleasndrs‌ I use ladies schick Quattro trim style. The trimmer has options for how close you get. I can do it with my eyes shut, it's that safe.

Also a part of the sick kiddo club. DS has a stuffy nose, cough, and fever. Unfortunately no Dr appts until Monday.

Hugs to everyone who needs them. Its so hard not to completely freak out when you hear something could be wrong and they make you wait. Worst feeling ever.

Afm, baby is moving around like crazy. Feeling it every day for past few days. 18wks 3days today, and A/S in 6 days! Can't come soon enough!

Today I was on my way to a drs apt with my 2 year old, as we were coming up to a light I saw a blind woman who was trying to cross the intersection. There was construction so half of the sidewalk wasn't there and she started to kind of wander into traffic, just as I was freaking out about what to do to help her, a man in the car behind me jumped out and helped her. I immediately burst into tears (which is so not like me) and started sobbing. I was relieved that someone helped her, but at the same time frustrated because I felt helpless. I'm 18 weeks pregnant and have my 2 year old in the car with me I didn't want to run into the road and leave my son unattended, and I know I did the right thing, but I still felt soo guilty. Ugh...or am I a complete asshole for not helping? I don't know....

Went to Hallmark tonight to buy a birthday card and they were playing Christmas music that immediately prompted ugly crying from me. It was bad. I have no idea wtf is wrong with me these days!
