    I just love that name so much! It was between Briar, Zelda, and Hollis for us... obviously Briar won out, but I would've been happy with any

    Lol, but Vada and Veda were on the SS list in the late 1800/early 1900s. Kind of a stretch but you could even call her Edie for short.

  • I love the name Matilda, but my DH vetoed it. Tillie would be such a cute nickname. Winnie and Tillie.


    ETA: A friend of mine named her daughter Thea (The-ah), which is also a great old fashioned name, although it doesn't lend itself well to nicknames.
    You could always go with Theodora as the full name, and use Thea as the nn

  • You have gotten so many great suggestions, I almost wish I wasn't done so I could use some of these names, ha!  I love Matilda/Tillie, Pippi, Hattie (there is one in DS Kindgergarten class!)  I know you'll have an awesome name to go with Winnie.

  • Why am I still thinking about this?  I came back to say Bee/Bea/Beatrice, but that was already mentioned.  I also LOVE the name Betsy.
