I was voted for one that was a major insult and really hurt my feelings.
"most likely to ask too many irrelevant questions in class". Ugh really?? So stupid. I was a good student who was highly engaged in the subject material.
I had a good friend voted "Biggest Space Cadet" and that hurt her feelings as well. Our yearbook staff picked them and they should have been just nice positive things!!
I didnt finish high school so i never had to worry if id get anything like that in the yearbook.

Ugh your post makes me remember one of the many reasons I don't miss high school! @mands1125 What mean categories. I would hope teachers wouldn't allow such insensitivity in yearbooks nowadays.
I was nominated for Best Hair but lost to a naturally curly-headed girl.
My SR class in high school voted me happiest classmate. If you saw me IRL I always have a smile and/or have something funny to say.
I was also voted most honest/trustworthy person... it wasnt until after I graduated that I realized how odd of a category it was, but was really honored that I got voted that by all my classmates.

Loss and IF veteran. Current mom of DS 5.5, DD 2, and sometimes DH 40. Due June 2021 with TWINS
I had like 1500 kids in my graduating class, I don't think we did any of the "voting" mainly because you really had no idea who 90% of the people were.
I would probably be voted biggest slut or something though, cause honestly, I probably got around more than is respectable.
I was a finalist for "Most Likely to Succeed", but ultimately didn't win. I was pretty smart back then, graduated #11 in a class of 400- sometimes I wish I could just be a professional student because school was actually fun for me! None of that translated to traditional "success" for me though, I'm just a regular stay at home mom. Good enough for me!

I've said something similar about being successful to DH and before and he told me that my success is just different than everyone else's. He said that I'm successful at making a home, raising an amazing child and making his life perfect.
Well, its not exactly like it was a secret. When I got married I wanted to change my FB status to---SEE told Ya'll you CAN turn a ho into a housewife. But my hubs didn't think it was near as funny as I did. But then again I think he thinks I exaggerate when I make jokes about what a little ho I was (we lived in different cities).

I also graduated as #11, but I only came from a class of 107. So... I guess mine is not very impressive.
I was voted Most dependable and was nominated for sweetest, but I lost to some whore! (haha, j/k - maybe that attitude is why I didn't win )
If they'd had a crystal ball, they could've voted me, "Most Likely to Ignore your FB Friend Request."
Hahaha!! This is my favorite and I wish I had the balls to be that person.
I left my HS a year early to go to college, so I wasn't there senior year, but came back at year's end to graduate. Take that (which doesn't happen a lot at my HS, it wasn't, like, an academic powerhouse or anything) and combine it with the fact that I was 1 of the 2 Asian kids out of 1200 students total, and everyone seems to remember who I am, and so I often get FB requests from people now who recognize me, but I'm like, "ummmm. I don't have any clue who you are." I usually will ignore them if I honestly have ZERO clue, but I guess it's more often that I think I know that face, but maybe I'm mixing it up with another person? I dunno.
I also wish I had the balls to autoreply back "Sorry, all the white folks from HS look the same to me, so I don't remember you." :P

My HS didn't do this...I guess because our class had 1,400 students. We had them in middle school though and I was still nominated for nothing. I flew under the radar too.
In 8th grade I was voted best voice and then in HS I was voted class chatterbox. Every year in my sorority I was voted drama queen and most supportive. Not sure how those go together....hmmmmm
I was voted most likely to go on Jerry Springer out of my senior class of 17. But that was in 98. I think before all the shirt-ripping and baby daddy drama.

It's the same with me. I'm the only Mexican in my (relatively) small class of 300. People recognize me and, truth be told, I recognize them. But I care not a whit to know what they're up to these days. Select people who were friends at the time? Add. Everyone else? Ignore. I don't worry about offending people I haven't seen since 1996.
Awaiting our bundle of cute chaos.

@Izzy0927 I never made that association. It was a musical theater thing for me. I was convinced I was going to be on Broadway. I can be your Sarah Michelle Gellar.
Yikes had there been a slutty category that absolutely would have been accompanied by my smiling mug. We did have a burn book senior year... That definitely came up on my page. Does that count? ">
haha I graduated with 970 some odd people and we did voted. I feel like I honestly knew a lot of my class. We did the normal categories (class clown, best eyes, most likely to succeed) and then we had more fun categories (most likely to get out of trouble, most alternative, keeper of the peace).
I was nominated for best dressed and won best secret couple (which outed me and this guy I was hooking up with...who had a girlfriend. That ended well.) X_X

@willvilljill ooh what kind of music? Were/are you a singer?
I was voted "most likely to brighten your day." Not your most conventional superlative, but I'm so glad somebody thought that of me-- at least I brightened one person's day!
@willvilljill that's awesome! We definitely would've been friends. I ended up majoring in voice and am one of those rare birds who actually gets to do music for my job-- I am a worship leader at a church!
I hate that they sucked the life out of composing. That's such an awesome gift (one I never had!) and I hope you still get to do it for yourself sometimes!

@Alygohome I'll sit with you on the slutty bench. I wasn't in high school, but college is a different story. I had a very busy semester.
