Good luck at your u/s! Do you have any questions about dating - I guess I am asking if you charted and temped. I remember at my first u/s, my H was practically dragging me into the room. As my pregnancy progressed, I have become less nervous beforehand, but I still need someone to drag me into the u/s room! Let us know how yours goes!
ETA I love the horse skeleton in your siggy! If that were my horse, I would keep the skeleton painted on year round.
Thanks! I didn't end up doing temping or OPKs so I'm in the dark on that. I'm sure DH will be dragging me in the room, but still not sure I can look at the monitor unless they find the hb. I think I am both anxious for Thursday to get here and wanting for it to not at the same time.
I love the skeleton horse too too bad it won't work on my horses since they are both paints (spotted). Can't imagine the time it took to do it though but the pictures are gorgeous so I couldn't resist in sharing them.
You should connect the spots on your horses to make constellations. That would be awesome!
Worries (rational or irrational) Not seeing growth that's on target with where I think it should be on tomorrows viability scan (I hate that it's called that...)
Appointments scheduled Viability Scan Wednesday; First OB appt November 19
(10 weeks)
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates Too many...next major one is my MC from December 17, 2010.
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Chai Favorite alcohol fueled drink? Wine- Red and Dry
Congrats on your positive! Welcome to first trimester check-in! That is a pretty shitty name for the scan tomorrow. I have everything crossed that it goes fantastic for you. Please let us know how it goes if you have a chance!
I am delighted to say I finally get to join this discussion!
EDD/Week/Fruit: June 17, 2015/5 wks 6 days/Apple seed
Worries: We just came from our first ultrasound so hearing a heartbeat has calmed me some, but still fear another loss
Appointments scheduled: October 30th for an early OB due to the previous loss
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: Our last loss was at our 9 week first OB appointment and our due date was December 19 so they are both creeping up on me.
QotW: Non-alcoholic drink is Cherry Coke, alcoholic drink is Long Islands
So happy to have found a group of ladies who understands the anxiety!
Congrats on your positive! Welcome to first trimester check-in! Congrats on getting to see baby's heart beat! It is such an amazing and wonderful sight! I'm sorry that both your loss milestone and EDD are approaching. Being PgAL does get easier as time passes, not easy, but definitely less worrisome.
Long Islands have led me astray many, many times. I know enough to steer clear of them now.
Feel better, @footprint! Thanks for doing this!
EDD: 5/23.
9w3d, green olive.
Worries (rational or irrational):
Brown spotting continues. Over a week now, despite being on pelvic rest. It slowed down over the weekend, but started up again last night. Makes my Pgal brain crazy. Last U/S was a week ago, where we saw two healthy heartbeats. Radiologist and doctor reassured me, and I keep reading this can be totally normal, especially with twins. Still, I worry. Pelvic rest for another week.
Appointments scheduled: Next appt and U/S is 10/28. Waiting for appt confirmation on NT and MateriT21 tests.
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates: My due date for my first pregnancy is 11/9.
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Favorite alcohol fueled drink? I've been missing the occasional Starbucks treat (caramel macchiato!) and a nice red wine. Still, worth it!!
Hope everyone's doing well!!
I am so sorry that your spotting continues. That must be so hard to see, even though you have seen your healthy babies on u/s! I wish there was something I could say to make you feel better. Although it isn't normal, a lot of women spot during pregnancy. Would you like me to check with some of the moms of multiples and women pregnant with multiples about spotting?
QoTW: Favorite Non-alcoholic drink: WATER! Boring I know but it's so damn refreshing.
Alcohol drink: WINE, I miss the WINE
Fingers and toes crossed for a great u/s and beautiful heart beat tomorrow! I hope that you are able to get some rest tonight! Let us know how tomorrow goes!
Sure, @footprint, any other sources of reassurance are welcome! Thanks! I've been googling (a slippery slope) and looking at any spotting-related posts. Two pals (just a few people know right now...waiting for next appt to share with more) said they had brown spotting with pregnancies, and have kids in elementary school now.
@Bobbie1227 - we have the same due date. My u/s is tomorrow, glad to hear you heard a heartbeat! Hoping for the same!
Thanks @footprint for the support! Your personal comments are awesome!!
I hope you get to hear a heartbeat as well. I felt much better after seeing/hearing it!
Worries (rational or irrational) symptoms seem to be lessening. Boobs not as sore, not as queasy. It's really scaring me!!! also so anxious and nervous about my upcoming U/S
Appointments scheduled - first U/S scheduled for the 28th- just 5 days a way!
Upcoming milestones/Loss dates - I have surpassed my loss milestone. With my MC I started spotting at about 6.5 weeks and lost the baby the following week.
QotW: What is your favorite non-alcoholic drink? Favorite alcohol fueled drink? I love diet pepsi but try not to drink it too much! My fave alchol is definitely tequila.

Ok. I spoke with @kefttsc who is 25 weeks and Team Purple. She personally didn't have spotting but reported that her doctor seemed surprised that she didn't. Something about the excess weight of the pregnancy early on that may cause spotting. She also recommended going to the Multiples Board, which is listed under the Specialties. She said it wasn't too active, but that the women on there are nice and welcoming to newcomers. If you would like, you can private message her, too.
I would also join your BMB and look for or start a Mom of Multiples check-in.

I'm really happy that someone, besides myself favors Diet Pepsi over Diet Coke. Tequila and I parted ways a long time ago after a night of debauchery that didn't end well for anyone involved.
Symptoms fluctuate throughout your pregnancy. I realize that knowing that probably doesn't help in any way, but maybe it can make you feel more "normal"? I have my fingers crossed that you have a fantastic u/s in five days! I hate how nerve wracking it is up until your appointment and I really hope that time moves fast!
@BookishMama I agree. These first few weeks are the worst. They are definitely testing my patience. Stressing about the numbers is one reason I'm leaning towards not doing betas.
I'm doing terrible so far LOL I should have stopped temping completely, but didn't and my temp took a huge dive this morning. Now I'm stressing out big time. I was thinking about doing betas, but am worried about the stress from them too.

Yeah. @bananaboat05 I thought about it after I posted it and I'm like They probably don't allow anyone to walk around with their midriff showing at a school! Duh! I could never walk around with my belly out, but props to those that can!
