**November Angels Check In (October 21, 2014)**

This is a weekly check-in for those who have lost an angel with a November EDD. If you would like to be added to our group, please reply to this message with your EDD and date and stage of loss. Please also tell us a little bit about yourself and your TTCAL journey so far. Those with loss dates in November are also welcome. As time goes on, it is only to be expected that there will be graduates, which means that there will at times be BFPs listed here. On weeks when we do have a BFP to celebrate, you’ll see a warning at the top of the page, which is provided so you’ll have the option of scrolling past the announcement if you need to. If you do get your BFP, please PM me so that we can congratulate you appropriately in the next check-in.

Hello Friends,

I am doing well! Mostly staying crazy busy with work, which helps in making the 2WW go faster! I was a bit freaked out yesterday AM when I checked my temp and it took a bit of a dip. A bit more at ease today when it was back up. Hoping and Praying its implantation. DH and I agreed we won't test until the weekend! In the meantime I am getting in extra exercising and DH and I have gone 100% organic and whole milk. We figure if this isn't our month then we will proceed with another round of clomid and monitoring session so you can't get too healthy! I am LOVING the fall weather and especially the colors and spending tons of time outdoors as a Nanny! Sending Hugs to everyone who needs them!!

QOTW: I LOVE Criminal Minds and recently started to really get into The Blacklist!

I SO don't blame you for POAS(ing)! As long as you can go into it knowing it may be too early, I don't see anything wrong with it! I am of the personality if I see a negative I want to be ready to simply move on so I don't test until AF is due or even a day later! If this is our month then implantation didn't occur until 10DPO for us, so perhaps we are in the same boat!! I'll look forward to your updates!! I am SO glad you have the appointment already set up with the RE. It can't hurt to get the second opinion!! I'm hoping you get to cancel it with excellent news! Perhaps even if you did get your BFP it would make sense to ask the RE to run their panels of tests they do to ensure everything looks good!! I don't exactly know what all the blood work is for, but I know when I got my positive last time there were lots of vials of blood taken

I would imagine the first thing they would check is your progesterone levels!! FX for you!

@tlc35 How are you? Were you ever able to confirm O? How is DH feeling? Any further updates?
I am doing OK. I am really frustrated with this cycle since I am CD 27 and still haven't been able to confirm O. I am thinking maybe today will be O date but I have thought that several times this cycle. I ran out of wondfo OPKs so I tried CVS brand which has been a dismal fail. Basically all of them are positive. My first RE appointment is Thursday so I'm looking forward to that. I kinda feel this cycle will be a bust. I should probably go ahead and order more wondfos.
My H is definitely feeling more like himself which is nice. His parents were visiting last weekend so we played tour guide. The visit was good but it was nice to have our house back yesterday.

QOTW: I still try to watch Grey's anatomy even though it has gotten ridiculous.

Thanks for the check-in @DenaMaree, I have everything crossed for you over here! Way to stay strong on the testing front and the get healthy front. I've been slowly working my way up from skim to whole milk myself and it's such a difference.

@hmr110913 what do they want to see for a progesterone # at 8dpo? I have my fingers crossed for you as well!

AFM: IUI #5 is officially in the books as of yesterday morning. At Friday's monitor sesh they had me do one more dose of the Gonal & Cetrotide, so I triggered Sat night. I had four dominant follicles and DH SA came back yesterday at 198 million with 89% motility!!! That is a HUGE improvement from previous IUI's so the Clomid he's on is definitely working it's magic. This new RE doesn't have me come back again until I get a BFP or CD1, so I just have to wait it out. I was told not to test before 12dpo, so I will wait until then. In the meantime, no real exciting plans, but I did run a half marathon on Sunday and had a great race. My RE joked I should do a round of injectables before every big race since I did so well, to which I said #thanksnothanks

@tlc35 Good luck at the RE's Thursday, I know it probably sounds silly but I am excited for you. I really hope they are able to figure things out and get you on a plan you feel good about.

@hmr110913‌ I know both my RE and OB ran separate blood work with each of my appointments with them and progesterone and thyroid were both checked with each so I guess I assumed it was part of the intake blood work. I totally agree, it should be standard!

@tlc35‌ I am SO glad you have the RE appointment set up!! My RE had me do CD23 blood work to confirm if I O'd my first month with him and as soon as we learned I didn't he scheduled my DH's SA and my ultrasound to check my tubes and additional blood work on me. It opened my eyes..and doors for us..I'm so glad we have the guidance and support of our RE!

@hmr110913 Thanks for clarifying the range, it seems like you're pretty close so hopefully the increase in meds will help? So crazy how we can be low on things like that and have no symptoms. As to your question, yes, that means he had 198 million swimmers! His first few samples were below 10 million, which is what labeled us male factor infertility (along with his clumping issue) but this increase is astounding so we are pleased to say the least.

AFM, we're making lots of progress on the house and will be moving this Saturday!!! I have no clue when I'm going to test and I have a lot of anxiety around it right now. I've been having a lot of cramping this week, which makes me feel like this cycle was a bust since I usually get a lot of cramping days before AF (which is due Thursday). I usually wait until AF doesn't appear on the day and test a day or two later, so I've been telling myself I'll test Friday if AF doesn't appear Thursday.

@hmr110913‌ Sorry your progesterone wasn't higher. FX that the new dosage helps. Don't feel bad about testing at 9dpo! I've done it. Just remember it's still early and a negative certainly doesn't mean you are out yet. :-)

@tlc35 I'm sorry that this cycle is so frustrating. I hope you are able to confirm O soon. Good luck at your RE appointment!

@Feegan‌ That's great news about the improvement in your H's SA!! And congrats on the half marathon!

AFM: The case I was working on settled so we won't be going to trial. I'm so relieved! It was a huge case, a two week long trial, and I was stressing out about all the prep work left to do. Now I'll be able to relax and enjoy our vacation this weekend. We're going to San Diego and Disneyland. I've never been so if anyone has any tips or must-dos let me know!

Other than that, AF should be here soon. Started spotting today. I'm feeling ok about AF arriving. We were taking a laid-back approach this month with the trial at work keeping me busy and our upcoming trip. So at least I'll be able to ride all the rides!

AFM :: FF confirmed O on CD13 so I am just counting down until Monday to test, if AF doesn’t appear first. My temps are following the same pattern as last month which is discouraging. I can’t compare them to my + from my Feb cycle b/c unfortunately I wasn’t temping then. I am not doing anything to make the 2WW go faster, if anything I am over-analyzing every little sign. Ugh …

In other news, the repairs from our 1 year inspection are almost complete - can’t wait to use the master bathroom again and to not have strangers in and out of the house!

QOTW: There are way more shows than I care to admit! The top for this season are Person of Interest, Walking Dead and American Horror Story.

Hey ladies, I wasn't sure about checking in here but everyone seems so very awesome and supportive

I'm on my 3rd MC, the first one being in May of last year. The second was on April 15th of this year and that is the one that had an EDD of 11-13. I was hoping it wouldn't hit me too hard after I found out I was pregnant again a couple of weeks ago. But then my 3rd MC started on 10-15 (ironic eh?)

The pregnancy with the EDD of 11-13 was quite a roller-coaster. My first u/s showed twins but it didn't seem that one made it. The second u/s showed it was back to being twins and everything seemed ok. The 3rd u/s showed a twin lost at about 6 weeks and before my 4th u/s I had lost the other one at around 10 weeks. Seems like such a short amount of time when you read it but I'm sure most of you know it feels like forever.

Anyway, I am in here for now while I wait to see a specialist since I've never had a successful pregnancy and my darn age. The hubby and I have lots of decisions to make but I hope I'm welcome here until we decide to continue trying or not. All of your strength and support may lead me to giving it another shot

As for the shows I don't miss (well at least the ones I never miss DVR'ing because I'm old and go to bed early lol) are Sleepy Hollow and Scorpion right now. Next season it will be Suits and Graceland.

I'm keeping this short because my life is just too crazy right now, but I do love you ladies and think of you often.

The mermorial was really peaceful, I was able to meet up with a few loss moms, one whom I'm really close with. We dropped flowers for our angel babies into the river. It was really sad, but beautiful at the same time.
I have some personal issues going on right now, mostly outside circumstances that are really raising my stress level so for this cycle and maybe the next DH and I will be NTNP or TTA. I just haven't decided yet.

Update on me: BFN this morning. I had some very light spotting last night so I worked up the courage to test this morning with FMU to see if it was possibly implantation spotting or just AF getting ready to rear her ugly head. Guess it's AF. I didn't have any spotting with my first pregnancy, so I don't know why it made me hopeful last night.

@HMR11913 Good to see your progesterone number go up! Mine was 11.4 5DPO and my doc didn't seem concerned, in fact she said it was a good number. When I get a BFP, I'm planning on going in right away to get it tested again and get a supplement if its still on the lowish side. It can't hurt!

@tlc35 So sorry you haven't been able to confirm O...so frustrating. Hugs for you! And good luck at your RE appointment.

@Feegan Congrats on the good results and improvements from your IUI and hubby's SA! Also, congrats on teh race

@aswedishbee I totally hear you about the anxiety in the 2WW. My acupncturist said ts so importnat to try to do fun things, laugh, and even meditate to release the anxiety. Use that new master for some quiet time!

@Nikolie So sorry for your losses and welcome to the board. I noticed you mentioned your age. I'm newly 40 and there is a check-in for 'ladies of a certain age' if you'd like to join there as well...AMA checkin.

AFM: I'm at 5DPO today. Looks like O shifted yet again to day 17/18 as opposed to 15/16 last cycle. Its fine but now I'll need to continue with the OPKs next month if we have a BFN. I was really looking forward to stopping those...oh well.

Work is crazy busy...I'm a nanny and the parents have a lot of traveling to do for their work, so I've been doing a lot of sleepovers. So the distraction is great as is the 24/7 kid training!

A trip for us all to NY is coming up, so that is something super fun to look forward to.

DH and I are still going to Open Houses every weekend and its both frustrating and eye opening. We'll probably have to get something that needs work if we're going to stay under $900,000! Yikes, that number is scary

@HMR11913 We live in Los Angeles and the housing prices here are bananas! The real estate bubble burst and quickly reinflated. The numbers we talk about during this house hunt blow my mind but they are the norm here unfortunately. In NY, I'll hook up with friends on my day off. But mostly I'll be working, so doing kid oriented stuff like museums and Central Park.

@DenaMareeYes, I do remember reading that you are a nanny! How many kids do you look after? I have 4, ages 7 to 12.

Thank you thank you @DenaMaree for the tag. I get a little overwhelmed on this board, so it's really wonderful to have this little corner to belong to.

It's been a tough week. Last weekend I decided against the misoprostol mostly because I was reading too many stories on the misdiagnosed miscarriage website, but also I just never got a good vibe from the OB I was seeing. I just wasn't 100% sure and my husband supported me.

The follow-up appointment was already set with a different doctor for Tuesday, so I figured I would take that as a second opinion appointment. She was lovely and spent quite a bit of time with me really looking and listening for a heartbeat just to be 100% sure. There was still nothing, but I appreciated the real hard look to make sure. I also only was measuring 6w4d but I was 8w1d.

I waffled on D&C vs the meds, but ultimately decided on the meds. I wish I hadn't because here I sit, well into 36 hours and I am barely bleeding. (TMI WARNING) Plenty of bright red blood when I wipe, but it's not really coming out. Last time I did this I needed a pad, but i just have a panty liner and it's fine. It's kinda pissing me off because I feel scared to go anywhere because it might happen at any moment, or more likely it won't and then I get to have the stupid D&C anyway. I should have stopped being a scardy-cat and just did the damn D&C this week and been done with it already. Lesson learned.

I have an appointment with an RE on the 28th, which is next Wednesday, but I might need to reschedule if this other situation isn't resolved. I would guess they don't want to get baseline tests while I still have pregnancy hormones in my system. Aggravating.

@nikolie93 sorry you had to join us, but welcome!

@scrang74 $900k!?! I live in DC, which is one of the most expensive housing markets in the country and $900k would buy something super amazing even here!
