My co-worker just reprimanded me for talking about baby gender

I was talking to someone else that was asking how I was feeling and had asked if I knew gender yet and I said "Yes, two girls!"  The conversation wasn't obnoxiously loud or anything, but we're in a cube environment...

After the person left my desk, he came over all upset and told me that I was very rude to be talking so openly about the gender of my twins because some people would like it to be a surprise.

I just stared at him without saying anything until he got uncomfortable and walked away.

Um, WTF, FREAKSHOW?!

     Yes it was planned, yes we know what causes that, no we are not on public assistance, and yes we will be getting cable after this. ;)

    That person is an idiot. On another note I'm relieved I'm not the only person who works with idiots.

    The other day my co-worker asked me to stop talking about my pregnancy, mind you this is the woman who keeps asking me questions about said pregnancy. What really gets me is she wanted me stop being so open because it made her regret her abortions (yup several of them this year). I about lost it on her. Where the hell do these type of people come from? This is also the same woman who bragged to me about her abortion earlier this year right after finding out I has a miscarriage with my first pg.

    I had a lot of emotions while reading this. It might be best to stick to strictly office talk with that lady. Sounds like she has you tap dancing in a field of land mines.
    I'm working hard on ignoring her. She infuriates me and I'm starting to think that she gets off on being mean. We now work in different departments so I'm hoping I'll see her less.

    Wow that guy sounds like MM. She told me not to find out what I'm having cz she doesn't want to know. I just told her that I'll make sure not to tell her if we do decide to find out
