I'm still getting over Herschel too

I think this will be a very hard season to watch. However, I think the Terminus group that is left will ultimately meet their demise. I don't trust Father Gabriel. He is definitely hiding something and could be dangerous to the group. Not because he himself is dangerous but that he would sell out the group to save himself.

1. Father Gabriel disturbs me with his holier than thou attitude. He thinks that everyone else is God's gift to him to keep him safe, but God abhors violence. He's also got some major guilt going on there.

2. Those terminates need to be killed. Like, slowly. I'm with Rick, they should have set up around Terminus and picked all the survivors off one by one.
Poor Bob!

3. So Carol and Daryl saw the car that stole Beth and they are following it? I'm really excited to see where this leads to. Beth may be mostly helpless, but she has two of the biggest badasses coming to rescue her (if they still can).

Oh, poor Bob. Did you see how they made him extra likeable earlier in the episode? Those writers love to mess with us! I agree that Father Gabriel has something to hide. Obviously he had a thing going with the organ player but I don't think he is quite so sinister that he would intentionally harm anyone.
I thought our big baddie this season is Gareth and the termites. Maybe they will get them out of the way real quick and can head off to DC but that seems a little too easy. My H has read the comics and suggested to me that there may be another big baddie for the season though. Maybe whoever has Beth?
I also have my little list of who i most want to survive. My list is not that long: Daryl, Rick, Judith, Carol, Carl, Michonne. Glenn and Maggie used to be but I can live without them. I really adore Tyrese too but I feel like he already has a target on his back. Tyrese represents hope and hummanity... we all know those characters never last.

I was confused at the end. What was Bob crying about before he got snatched? Was he starting to make the marks on the tree for Morgan?

I knew Bob was a goner, and I can't say I was that sad (although what's happening to him is very disturbing). He was a character that never sat well with me.

I couldn't get a good feel for the age of the girl with the glasses (zombie and from the picture with Gabriel). Could he be a pedofile maybe? Hence the "You'll burn for this" carved into his church.

Also is anyone else feeling anxiety that they're getting separated again??? I want Carol and Daryl to save Beth, but come on the gang just got back together. Waaahhhh!!

Not sure if anyone else is as big of a TWD nerd as I turned into...and has read most of the comics. I have a feeling I already know what Father's confession is going to be which is also why he harbors so much guilt. And Bob...by the way he asked Sasha to give him another kiss and the facial expression, I'm pretty sure that basement walker bit him. So I think the Terminus folk just ate tainted meat. Hopefully that fixes that Terminus problem.

Personally, I'm ecstatic that Judith is still around because in the comics, at least as far in as I have read, she died with Lori when the prison was raided. So yay! for the baby surviving! :-)

Edit: Because spelling ain't easy.

Yes! Bob definitely got bit and was hiding it. I imagine cooking the meat would kill the infection though, right? I mean, everyone is already infected anyway.

I also think that with how he was acting that Bob got bitten by the waterlogged basement walker. I was thinking he probably left the church so that he could kill himself.

And I don't know if cooking the meat/bobs leg cancels out the infection. I remember walkers who were burnt and were walking around as embers. I'm not sure but it would make sense to me that, since everyone has the virus, the bite acts as a catalyst that causes them to turn before death. So I think we will see that they were in fact eating 'bad' meat. Which they deserve!

My theory is that the bites are a breeding ground for infection, and the virus acclerates the infection, causing death. The human mouth in a clean, living person is disgusting and harbors so much bacteria.

I don't think the termites will be bothered by eating.Bob, even if he was bit.

I wonder how long they will keep him alive, and if the group will find him.

So is it a general consensus that someone has taken Beth? I kind of thought she was driving the car, but maybe not. I was super excited when I recognized what car it was though.

I don't even want to talk about Bob. Gross.

I thought Bob was bit as well and was going to kill himself, that's why he asked for one more kiss. Eating him was disgusting. Of course I had lunch duty at work today and the school lunch was ribblet sandwiches which looked gross and of course the teachers were comparing it to Bob's leg. Vomit!

I agree that Father Gabriel's character is very sketchy! Makes me even more curious as to what his secret could be.

I was thinking maybe Father Gabriel abandon the towns people when the outbreak happened and that's why he has so much guilt. He said that they had their food drive a day or week(?) before, so people still participated at the church. Then the scratch marks on the windows, maybe they were begging to get in?

I thought he was bitten too, but did anyone else see the mark on the tree right after he got hit? I may have to go back to my DVR, maybe I was seeing things.

I totally saw it too! And on the talking dead for next weeks episode they show a preview -- Sasha noticed a mark in the tree that looked exactly the same. They made it a big deal to showcase it. It looked different from the circle x's like what Morgan saw, these are a single, deep horizontal line
