Why would Bob go hang out in the dark by himself? Especially when they all know someone is watching them in the woods.
THIS^
I wonder if the priest and the terminus people are connected?
I was actually wondering if Bob was originally with this group before they got captured and that's why they were saying they never intended to hurt him.
My thoughts exactly. I don't think they ever fully explained his whole back story and why he was such a shitty drunk when they first encountered him. Or maybe they did and I just don't remember.
Why would Bob go hang out in the dark by himself? Especially when they all know someone is watching them in the woods.
This is what we kept saying. Once he almost got bit in the basement dh and I thought he was acting weird. We thought for a minute that he went outside to turn. So now we are trying fo figure out if the guys just got lucky getting him that night and would have taken anyone or if they have a specific thing against Bob. We don't remember the whole back story either @hollmb.
Then did you catch the preview where they said they have taken 3 of them now. So what 2 are next?
And even if Bob went out by himself to turn or whatever how come nobody noticed he was missing for a while? We watched the talking dead (me in bits in pieces cause I kept dosing off) and it didn't seem like they spoke on it much.
I assumed they said three people because they don't know where Carol and Daryl went. But yeah, I totally thought he was bitten too. The second they jumped into the water I was screaming at the tv because zombies don't need to breathe, dummies. There could have been tons of them just chillin underwater.
Oh what about the priest and how he obviously knew that chick and was going to sacrifice himself? How do you think he knew her?? Just a church relationship or something else?
Yeah, he obviously feels responsible for her somehow. I'm guessing he locked everyone out of the church so that he could have all of the food to himself and thats why they carved those words on the building. Maybe he was trying to convince himself that she was alive somewhere and was overwhelmed with guilt when he saw her as a walker? Or maybe that's all wrong. Pure speculation here.
Omgeee I feel so bad for bob. Sasha will be so sad!!! I also believe that the priest has something to do with terminus... And also like earlier mentioned they said 3 were missing bcuz Darryl and carol ran after that car that supposedly has Beth. Now I'm totally frustrated bcuz after being burned one too many times as the leader rick wanted to go back and ensure that the leader of terminus was dead!!!! And now look. They didn't respect their leaders word. After the governor got away and came back I'm sure rick blames himself for just letting him go and not pursuing him to make sure he was dead. Now the same has happened again! I'm thinking Morgan will some how help with this bcuz remember he followed the engravings in the trees which I'm hoping will lead to those ass hole cannibals who are actually worst than the walkers !!!
I thought bob went outside to turn as well! I'm not convinced that he's dead though. It's possible that they can rescue him still. I'm guessing terminus folk are eating him in parts so they can take him with them as they travel and continue to eat him bit by bit. Which sad as it is leaves the possibility for rescue.
Purely speculative but it's harder to cgi out the arms than they legs (I mean just 'hide' the prosthetic leg/stump under pants). So I'm guessing they mean to keep him around for a while.
I'm thinking carol & Daryl will be back. They knew it would take a day or two to fix the bus. It's far more important to find Beth.
@chilibeansm0m you took the words right out of my mouth! We thought Bob was going outside to turn at first too. And then I was so surprised when he got taken. And by them! DH and I were wondering why no one else noticed her was gone. He was acting so strange after the walker in the water almost got him though.
And I don't trust the priest. @hollmb we were thinking the same things as you, that he locked everyone out of the church when we saw the writing on the wall. Whatever it is, I'm with Rick and I just don't trust him. Not at all.
The previews for next week look so good! I want to see what happens when Daryl and Carol try to get Beth back. And to poor Bob. And the rest of them.
I think Bob got scratched or something, he was acting a little strange and then went outside alone and was crying. Maybe he was planning to get rid of himself before he could turn and hurt the others, but got captured first. Maybe he'll turn and get one of the Terminus guys?
I totally don't trust Gabriel, not one bit. I hope we find out what his deal is soon.
Why would Bob go hang out in the dark by himself? Especially when they all know someone is watching them in the woods.

I wonder if the priest and the terminus people are connected?
I was actually wondering if Bob was originally with this group before they got captured and that's why they were saying they never intended to hurt him.
But then why would Bob return to Terminus with the rest of the group? This episode is driving me crazy!
DH and I thought Bob went outside to turn, too. The ending totally messed with my head, I just can't.
The priest obviously knew that lady, that's why there was that scene near the end of him looking at a photo of them together. his secret lover maybe? A close friend?
I think the scratches on the church indicate that he locked everyone out of the church when things went bad. Can't wait for next week.
"That right there is why we're waiting for our moment" - what do we think this means? -- that they NEED to convince them to come along to Washington? Or something else?
I didn't feel right about the comment but I don't feel like they're bad people either.
@Darbie914 the actor who played tyrese was on the talking dead. He said that (in his opinion) tyrese did think he killed that guy. That he bashed his head til 'blood came out his ears'. So he probably did think he killed him.
Most of what I want to add has been said, but here goes. I also thought Bob went outside to turn because I figured he was bitten where it didn't show. His backstory was never fully explained, though he did say that the last two groups he had been with, everyone but him died and that's why he was alone for so long. That makes me think he didn't know the people from Terminus prior to the end of last season.
As for Abraham's group, I don't think they have bad intentions. His comment was more to that he wants the group to want to go, rather than pushing them into it. I don't trust Eugene though, I think he is using the idea of a cure to get help to get to where he wants to go because he's incapable of protecting himself.
Same for Father Gabriel. I don't trust him and also think he must have turned people away but I don't think he's connected to the people from Terminus. I also think he had an inappropriate relationship with the lady with the glasses and was ready to let her take him out.
Regarding Tyrese, the actor who plays him did say on Talking Dead that he was sure he'd killed the guy in the cabin, but obviously he didn't.
I think Carol was ready to take off on her own when Daryl found her. I really hope they are able to find Beth and bring her back to the group. Also to reiterate from next week's preview, someone says three are missing, I'm fairly certain they are including Carol and Daryl since they took off without telling anyone where they were going.
If Bob is going to die, I hope that he is infected and the Terminus people die and turn. I noticed in the preview it looks like they leave him and run, so maybe that isn't the case.
Poor bob!!!! I almost cried. I'm trying to remember from last week, did the terminus guys know their names? How'd they know his name was bob? If it wasn't said last week it's a good indication that bob had some history with them.
I do NOT trust the military group (with mullet cure guy).
I'm not sure what to make of Gabriel but they're right not to trust him. Something fishy is up. I agree that he locked everyone out of the church.
I agree 100% about the mullet guy who claims to have the cure but I'm basing it entirely on the mullet itself. What successful genius pathologist (or whatever he is) purposely has a mullet?? Also, the zombie apocalypse wiped out hair salons a while ago now so is he making time to groom the mullet on his own? In between walker attacks? Real shady

Am I the only person who totally trusts Abraham, mostly because I've seen Band of Brothers one too many times? I mean, it's Bull! Bull is awesome!
Mullet-dude, not so much, though. His monotone delivery also creeps me out.

Great point, I didn't even think about Gareth calling him by his name. The only thing I can think of is when the groups first arrives, they are welcomed and fed so they could have learned his name that way. Now I'm thinking that maybe they did know him from before though.

-------------- I imagine they knew his name because the terminus folk did let bob, Sasha, maggie, glen and the Washington crew all in and fed them. We don't know how long they hung around before sticking them in the train car.
Also I think what was up with him calling bob by his name was remember he interrupted when Rick was showing off about the ax he was going to kill him with. And remember bob was like pls u don't have to do this testing gareths moral. And he was going to stab him in the eye to get rick to talk. I don't believe he knows them. I believe that was the emphasis on how far gone gareth and his ppl really are from being tormented themselves. That eating ppl and hunting ppl Isint a want but it's what they HAVE to do. Also it was to put emphasis on how now he has a personal vendetta against rick and his crew relating them to the reason why they lost terminus
Ok, I am repeating a lot now that I'm reading the entire thread, but I wanted to interject.
@chilibeansm0m So hubby and I thought that Bob may have been bit from under the water that no one saw.We thought he was acting odd and it seemed to us that maybe he was freaking about being bit and hiding it from the group which was why he went outside. As for the preview about 3 people that had gone missing,I believe that is the terms they used and not 3 people taken. I woke up in the middle of the night and came to the conclusion that they meant Bob, Daryl and Carol.Bob being taken in the episode and Daryl and Carol driving off to find Beth. That made more sense to me.Besides they were slowly eating Bob, which leads me to believe that maybe they are keeping him alive to make sure they have food available to them at all times instead of having to continue to hunt. We did think it would be beautiful karma if Bob was bit and they were eating him after he had been Bitten.
Our thoughts on Father Gabriel are that he locked his "flock" out of the church after hearing about the epidemic and she was one of them and I believe possibly an inappropriate relationship took place
PS. has anyone ever seen the movie Ravenous? In that movie the need for human flesh is addicting and the walking dead is stating the same thing. Ugh, it freaks me out.

@meladoriestar YES! However, I was thinking more oalong the lines of the RobotChicken Sketch If you give a mouse a cookie. But I can't find a story board for that one damn it!
Omg thanks for the Always Sunny in Philadelphia references, @meladoriestar & @hollmb! Perfectly timed.
I think Bob has been leaving the carvings for Morgan - I keep expecting him to return and kick some ass. Did not occur to me Bob was bit in the water - brilliant suggestion!
I agree, Gabriel had to have locked people out. Or, I think he rounds em up for Terminus.
I've been waiting for Beth forever! Think she's got a a chance of being alive? Lastly, there's no way Bob didn't wake up mid-amputation. That ending was creep-tastic.

Those people from Terminus are disgusting!!!! I also do not trust Gabriel. Something weird is up with him.
I hate that this show is soo good and we have to wait another week.

Bob outside--It was either the alcohol or he was bit.
Cure became a reset became a restart with SUPPLIES! Just. So much BS.
Priest locked them out IMO. Similar panic we saw in the water.
