R/R: You would think that at some point in my career I'd learn to prepare for class early, but nope. One hour to prepare for classes! Eek! My main rant is just still dealing with the RE appt yesterday. I'm leaning towards getting a second opinion, but if it takes a long time to get an appointment I might do one cycle of IUI with the RE I just saw. Ugh. Not happy about any of this.

GTKY: Who is your celebrity doppelgänger? When I was little I used to look like a red headed version of the Olsen twins (full house days). Now I look nothing like them. Can't say I have a doppelganger now as an adult. Guess I should become famous so I can be my own doppeganger

I dunno what exactly goes on, but there's all sorts of events and vendors going to be set up through-out town. There's a "sorting hat exprience", a quidditch tourny, life-size live chess games, a corn maze, exploring Azkaban, exploring a "lost muggle city", there's a drive-up theater in town playing a few of the HP movies in Friday/Saturday evening, etc. I'M SO EXCITED I COULD DIE

R/R: The weather here as turned cold (45-55) in the morning but is still 75-80 in the afternoon so I'm never sure how to dress, and top it off I have a sore throat. Yay for cold and flu season!
my grandparents stopped for a visit on their way home to SD from MD Anderson, and it was good to see them. TW my grandma had to have a large chunk of her face removed (half her nose and a 3 inch circle of her cheek). It's an open wound into her sinus, and she was a bit scared how DS would react (if he'd be scared), so she was going to wear a surgical mask for the whole visit. I knew they it got hot under there, and that she needed open air to help heal, so I asked her to remove it and we could see how he handled it. Luckily, he wasn't phased, told me "Nina owie?" Then played peekaboo with her. I wish the adult population would react like he does.

CS/Q: nothing exciting, but my wake times have been all over the place because of work and family visiting.

GTKY: Who is your celebrity doppelgänger?
I've gotten Amanda Seyfried and Joanna in Sweeney Todd but the only resemblance I see is that I am fair skinned and blonde.

@lurvleybunchococonuts I'm assuming HP fest is Harry Potter? Totally weird and creepy, but from your earlier post, is it the one in Jefferson? If so, my sister will be at that one and so I'm jealous, it sounds amazing (and has been fun in previous years)! I may go to Wizard World Comic Con this month, depending of my husband's home from his work trip yet, I'm impatiently waiting for the dates.

@nitnat007 what kind of sushi? MH loves sushi and I am not a huge fan (which is wired because I like all the elements of sushi separately, just not together). He knows it's a special day for him when I consent to get sushi.

@darkstar42 I'm sorry for your RE troubles. Doctors can be the worst! It doesn't hurt to try for a second opinion.

@nimmle it's a staff retreat for work - so I will be in training and team builders for the two days (tomorrow and Friday), but looking forward to the evenings and exploring some of the restaurants in town! Was planning on hiking but it looks like it's going to be winter weather so probably won't.

@nimmle I would just like to say that as hard as difficult as it was, I struggled through it and forced myself to have sushi for lunch. I took one for the team! Haha that is cute! @MrsBunz Oh I am so glad that the visit went well! I wish more adults were like YS too! My mom has had similar done to her nose and she has been extremely self conscious of it since. It can be a struggle for sure. MH doesn't like sushi either, so I also know its a good day when lol

R/R: Trying to motivate myself to clean the house and finish laundry. I know I’ll feel better once it’s done but I have no energy to do it. I took the night off this Saturday, so DH and I are going to an Oktoberfest at one of the local farms. We grew one pumpkin this year, but we’ll probably pick more there and sample some food/beer/wine (I’m letting myself drink for this one day).

CS/Q: Nope.

GTKY: I don’t think I really have a doppelgänger. People like to tell me I look like various red-headed celebrities just because I have red hair. Older people will say Sigourney Weaver and younger people say Lindsay Lohan.

That's awesome that you're going with your MIL. I dunno if mine is going to be joining us at all or not. I'd offer to let you park in my driveway but my sister and a good friend of mine will already be parking there

The map look pretty cool. There's a schedule/description of events up too. Fair warning there's not a lot in terms of "fast food" in town. There's a McDonalds and a Subway as well as some sit down "family" restaurants. I'd imagine there will be more food and drink stands set up around town too (at least I'd assume so lol). Are you dressing up?

CS/Q: For those that OPK what day do you generally start. My cycle generally ranges from 28-40 days. *TW* That was before my loss though so I don't really know what to expect end TW*. I've never used them before so it is all very new to me.

GTKY: Who is your celebrity doppelgänger? I do not think I have one. Those silly FB face "recognition" quizs and stuff have given me Adelle and Reese Witherspoon. I don't see it with either except the rounder face. I definitely do not have a RW chin.

@kindbytealikat My cycle is 28-30 days normally and I tend to O around CD12'ish, so I start testing around CD8. Are you using the cheapie Wonfo or Easy@Home brand? That helps when you want to test more frequently until you have a better idea or narrowing it down. Glad you are all feeling better now! Nothing worse than a sick household.

R/R: I mentioned last week that I have been trying to find a new work situation (preferably a part-time remote position) and I was contacted about an awesome job I recently applied for (which is remote and part-time and perfect for me)! Except the permanent position is now just a seasonal position Dec-Feb.

I can't quit my current job for a seasonal position but I really want to pursue this job. I'm hoping (if I do get the job) that it could turn into a permanent position maybe? I'm nervous about working both jobs at the same time though. It would be about 55 hours/week for those three months.

GTKY: Who is your celebrity doppelgänger? When I was in high school and Gilmore Girls was on TV I used to hear that I looked like Rory (edit: Alexis Bledel). Which I thought was way too generous lol. I can see some similarities but not enough to call her my doppelganger.

R/R: Raves: hump day! Broken wrist is almost completely healed and I've finally been able to get out and run a little bit. I feel so out of shape, so I'm starting with my couch to 5k app and slowly easing myself in to allow my legs and my arm time to acclimate. But it feels so good! Rant: Work is crazy and I'm job hunting which is necessary but just adds to my stress. Ugh.

CS/Q: I've had some clear CM the past couple days, not really EW though. Don't want to miss our chance so I've been pouncing on DH.
