Bridesmaid in March

So I conveniently got pregnant while on standby for bridesmaid duties. Luckily the bride is letting us all pick whatever dress we want (I'm guessing I complicated that one as I'll be 36+5 weeks along). I know empire is the best silhouette to go for, but I'm afraid of buying a dress too early and it not fitting. Any advice ladies?

    Check with the bridal shops, make sure they have experience with maternity.

    The bridal chain near me (David's Bridal) has a fake belly you can wear to try on dresses. Obviously this won't be exact but it can give you an idea of what size you might be around that time. Good luck!

    Is there a local dress shop that does rental? That way you don't have to commit to a size. I live in Los Angeles, & some of my friends went that route

    Many bridesmaid dress manufacturers make maternity dresses now. I would check with a local bridal store who has experience in the area. :)

    Hey one of my bridesmaids was pregnant and she just ordered extra fabric, and it ended up working out well, just in case there isn't a maternity version of the dress the bride wants to use. Its crazy this thread popped up because my friend just asked me to be her bridesmaid about an hour ago. I said yes, THEN she told me wedding is probably March. I'm due April 2 and am a high risk for preterm labor and might be placed on bedrest. I told her I don't know if I'll be able to go if its in March but I'll try my best...most likely won't be able to be there at all :/

    Me-24~~ DH-25~~Married 6/15/2013~~Pregnant with our first due April 2, 2015~ Septate/ Bicornuate/Arcuate /some kind of not-normal uterus- won't know for sure which one till after babe is born~~Hoping for a full term baby!

    I hope the wedding is close to home. I had my last one unexpectantly at 37w 2 d. Prodromal labor started at 36w5 days, so I was in no shape for a wedding. Though my first was induced at 40 w 2 d and I did attend a wedding the weekend before.

    Those wrap dresses are great when preg! I wore the one i got to 3 weddings my last pregnancy, once each tri. Here are 2 brands, but there are many others.
