Re: Throwing in the towel...
I broke my #1 rule of not wearing leggings as pants. Fuck it
I've also started sneak-wearing flip flops at work, but that's because my feet are so swollen, I can't wear regular shoes without tons of pain.
I haven't been wearing eyeliner as much. It has a lot more to do with me sleeping in too late to spend as much time doing makeup.
I wore leggings for the first time ever. That was a big step, but pants + pregnancy don't mix as well as I thought they would.
TTC since Sept 2011, Unexplained IF
Oct 12 - Jan 14: 3 clomid/TI cycles, 2 hysteroscopies, 2 IUIs, 1 BFP (MMC @ 12w), 2 more IUIs
Feb 14: Gonal-f + IUI #5 = BFP! (EDD 11/4/14)
Baby boy arrived 11/13/14!
-Wearing anything other than flip flops
-Being embarrassed when I drop things...my hand is totally numb, of course I'm going to drop my tea in a restaurant!
Contrary to everyone else, I've actually started painting my nails again. I avoided it in the first two trimesters because of the chemicals and it was the first time in maybe 15 years that I had bare nails, so now I'm back to painting with a "natural" nail polish.
From now on, my husband will be coming with me and he can drive!
I've given up wearing makeup on my days off, if we aren't going anywhere. I'm still wearing makeup to work because no one needs to see how dark the circles are under my eyes!
On the bra note, if I dont have to leave the house it's not goin on.....this also includes changing out of pj's/sweats cuz IDGAS B-)
Bbuuuttt, Im going to attempt shaving my legs today. we'll see how that goes.
And I am with you all on not picking up anything off the floor..if I drop it then that's too bad.
Seriously if I get a brush through half my hair it's a good day.
Putting on Socks. I have these dorktastic slip on sneakers and I'm going sockless. I just can't reach my feet any more.
I've also thrown in the towel on cooking. DH is now my personal chef and I don't even try to help. Being around the oven/stove gives me crazy hot flashes and certain smells while cutting veggies make me want to gag. DH has made me dinner every night for about 2 weeks now.
I have one at work and it is glorious! We have to do hourly walk arounds and pick toys and board books off the floor in the baby/toddler area of the library and it is the only way I will do it. At home, if it's on the floor, it no longer exists.

I gave up trying to groom my toenails months ago. I have been getting once a month pedicures for a few months now.
Doing my hair too.....its always in braids or pulled back. Make up is a rare occurance these days as well.
I wish I could give up wearing shoes and actual clothes....but I still have to come to work. We are not allowed to wear open toed shoes, and of course no one wants to see my Tinkerbell or Eeyore jammie pants.
