A high school friend of mine had a baby 10 days ago, and yesterday was posting pictures of her outing with baby daddy that seemed to go on most of the day and involved a few drinks. She has two older kids as well. I am judging the shit out of her. Not to mention, who wants to be doing that 10 days PP?
I had a baby 10 days ago. Sounds pretty nice to me.

She does. As long as she's not endangering/neglecting the kid, why does it matter? I know someone who took a week old baby to an all day family reunion that involved drinking. She made everyone who wanted to touch the kid use hand sanitizer. Kid survived, so did she.
Her life, her kid, her choice.
Nothing wrong with having a drink or two right after having a baby. I don't think going to a pre planned family reunion or having wine at dinner in a pub is the same thing as dropping a brand new tiny baby off at grandmas while mom and dad go out for the day to tie one on just because. No, the baby isn't in danger, but I'm still going to side-eye a bit.

I still think it's a silly thing to judge, especially if it's not a common occurrence.
It was a common occurrence, at least before this pregnancy. She's been with the father of the baby less than a year, latching on to this guy very quickly after the father of her other two kids lost/gave up his parenting rights. There's more to the story, but she could be making better decisions for herself and her family. I guess I could offer some guidance instead of being judgemental, but she doesn't take well to advice and that ship has pretty much sailed between us.

There were several Facebook "check-ins" from different places throughout the day. And sure, we all might say that a day out sans baby at 10 days PP would have been nice, but personally there's no way in hell I could have actually done it.

I could've and did. Jason got a tattoo 10 ish days after Josephine was born. We left her at my mom's and went out for the evening drank had dinner went back and got my kid.
It just saddens me to see the life her direction seems to be taking and her kids have been through a lot already. If it had been anyone but her I probably wouldn't have thought too much of it.

Just got home from the clinic.... Allison has yet another ear infection....fuck....
As for the mom 10 days pp....her life, her kid, and as long as grandmas capable, who cares? I get thinking someone is making bad decisions, but they are hers to make and not yours to judge.....
Went to an Apple Fest. It was chilly and rainy so we didn't stay long. Kids crafts were inside though. I got some yummy apple butter! I came right home and made toast with apple butter then ate a spoonful!
Anniversary date tonight. Dinner and a movie. I think we are going to see Gone Girl. Then we might stay in the new place. My mom is watching Zoe overnight so we can have a night together. .
No furniture in the new place so we will kind of be camping out there by the wood stove.

Hola! Trying to catch up on some SPAM. Been out for a few days. Im at work and am supposed to be studying craniotomies. But they're lame so Im gonna Bump instead. Truly enjoying the Call Out thread. Swearing, even just in text, is fun and cathartic. Ah, fuck
So LO just puked. We have field trips this week and DH is OOT so if LO gets anyone else sick, we are out of luck.
Also, did her first pukeyness have to be when my morning sickness is so bad?. I almost got sick from trying to clean her/area up. Lord help me. I would very grateful if it was a one time puke. [-O<
When I was KU at work and there were yucky smells that made me want to puke, I would put the tinniest amount of peppermint oil on a cotton ball, and then dab the outside of my nose with it.
@KateJuly2013 thanks for the tip - will keep that handy. This time it was the sight more than smell. I'll spare everyone the visual. . I appreciate the support, ladies.
Clearly, the universe is telling me to leave my bedroom hoarder-esk. Right?
There is approximately 5 people in this cafeteria right now, and some random dude/lady just sat at my fucking table. I think he/she is a phlebotomist. he/She is eating tuna noodle casserole and slurping his/her V8. Wtf? There are literally 65 open tables. Am I being punked?

You can't identify the sex?! Lol
nope. It's a Pat. Truly. I have hypothesized that perhaps she is transgender or in sex change process. Who knows.
I am so overwhelmed right now. I feel like I can never get ahead. This is exactly the type of thing that spurred my desire to de-crapify, finally get through the mountains of clothes, and get the master in order. Start there and move room to room. Ha ha ha ha ha ha ha.
@Kitten80 >:D< @KateJuly2013 my new shift is 10-6 so I rarely run into anyone on my 2pm lunch....except last week when a group of people came in and were bitching about my department [-X

@Karen0477 my dept gets bitched about a lot. We are widely regarded as the bitchiest nurses in the hospital. We arr one arrogant group of RN's. Hahaha

Ugh, yuck. I was at the library studying a couple days ago, and I got up to use the bathroom and when I returned there was a guy sitting at my table (no big deal there), but it was a table with four chairs and he chose the chair directly next to my stuff. Then, he was sniffling, blowing his nose, and coughing very audibly. I'm not a germaphobe or anything, but the sound alone was enough to make me have to get up and move.

I'm eating my dinner while watching Silas in the tub and he demanded a bite of my food then immediately spit it. It was lasagna, so now there's ricotta floating around in the bathwater. Lesson learned there :-<

@kitten80 I'm so sorry lady! You've had it rough lately and I just hope things turn around for you. >:D<
@KateJuly2013 you are totally cracking me up tonight! I hate when people sit right beside me when there are so many choices. The worst is in a large restroom when someone chooses the stall next to you when there are several others. It's awkward!
AW for my H: I came home from a 12 hour shift to homemade brownies and a cute note from him and Maggie. It is apparently Sweetest Day. Plus he is wearing his tight jeans and they make his junk and butt look incredible. :x
