Green eyes?

Does your baby still have them? I'm shocked that now at a year, my little guy still has his green eyes. Everyone told me that they would change. My niece had green eyes and when she turned 10 months they turned brown.

My ds1 has brown, I have brown and my H had brown until he was about 17 and then they slowly turned green just likes his Moms.

I read that 2% of the world has green eyes...that's pretty cool

Could they still change?

My 2.5 year old daughter had bright green eyes until just about two months ago--now, they are getting little brown flecks in them. Wondering if she is going to end up having hazel eyes (like my husband) or brown? Mine are pure gray, but they were super bright blue until I was 7 or 8. Little guy's are bright blue for now.

Eye color changes a lot in the first couple years.

I think it's more likely your LO will have hazel. Hazel eyes range from green to brown to grey. And they change over the years, with what you wear, mood. My whole family had hazel eyes and each on of ours is a deferent shade. Mine are more green, but can look really brown. True green eyes are really rare and are more like blue green is my understanding.

DD's eyes switch from greenish blue to hazel. I'm not sure where they'll end up but hoping they settle in more green. My whole family is blue, DH's are hazel but all of his siblings are green or blue so there's a chance i suppose!

Yeah, Cece's are hazel, they have some green/blue hints to them in certain lights. They've darkened up recently so I think they will be closer to brown.

Oaklee's eyes are so different. They are considered hazel but they have brown, blue, and green in them. Love them!

Oliver's are hazel for now. I thought for sure they would be brown when they started changing around 5-6 months, but so far they've stayed this greenish-greyish-brownish. They are exactly like my sister in law's, so I think they might stay *fx*

We're in the hazel club too, for now. They are dark hazel though so probably heading towards brown like mine

BF has very bright hazel though so who knows.

Graham's eyes don't know what they're doing. They're blue with some light green and pumpkin flecks. They're been this way for about 6 months. I guess that is hazel. DH and DD are both blue, but mine are a darker hazel so it's like his are in the middle.

I have green eyes as do both my sisters. I was hoping dd would but she has daddy's blue eyes. I always liked being unique. I bet your LO will too.

My ds1 has brown eyes and he says "I bet god have my little brother green eyes because he knew it was my favorite color" melts my heart! He absolutely adores his little brother!!

I have brown eyes and DH has green, as does my mom. LO had blue until a few months ago they turned green. Every now and then they look like they have brown flecks in them too!

It would sure be awesome if he did! Now with everyone saying that they can change even years down the road...I wonder if they will.
