Hi may14 moms. Planning to introduce solids this week. I'm looking at getting a high chair for my LO turning 6months old. Do you moms have any suggestions on what High chair to get? Thanks.
We got an Eddie Bauer one second hand and love it so far. Ours has every thing I was looking for: removable tray, high back, no soft materials other than the safety straps. Wipe to clean and it looks nice.
we got a fisher price space saver temporarily. I wanted something to put her in while i was in the kitchen but we are moving shortly and i wasn't sure what would work best in the new house. While i really like it, it doesn't meet my two main criteria:
1. one hand tray removal
2. crotch bar on chair not bottom of tray
however, i love that it was cheap, cute, and reclines. I plan to give it to grandma when we get her another one. We are leaning towards peg perego zero3 or siesta or the babybjorn high chair.

We have the babybjorn. So far it seems fine, all DD does is sit in it and play with toys. My aunt commented that it looks like it would be really easy to clean. The one downside I could see is that for bigger babies they would probably outgrow it fairly quickly.
Graco blossom... What sold me is the tray can go in the dishwasher, the seat cover is machine washable and it grows with baby.
Samesies. I also liked it bc it didn't look kid cheesy like a lot of the fisher price ones. We leave it out full time and doesn't look obnoxious. There's like a million pieces though so be prepared to store some parts when not in use.
We opted to forgo the high chair and have Phil & Ted's lobster chair. It attaches directly to the table. Hoping LO feels included in meal times and it's a space saver in our small house.

My parents have the $25 ikea highchair at their house. It's actually great.
I don't know about in the US but in Canada it has actually dropped price to $20 with the tray (the chair went from $20 to $15).
We got ours used from my sister though, she gave us both they had for their twins so my in-laws could have a hand-me-down one too.
If I had to do it over again, I'd get the ikea Antilop for my cheapie seat instead of the Chicco I have.
On the high end though, I love my Stokke trip trap chair. DS1 is still using it at 3. A friend of mine has one that her 11 year old is still using. Love love love.
We have a Graco 4 in 1 chair. I wanted something that will grow with her. The high chair part can be removed from base and put on the included booster seat, nice for when going to see family. It's a little pricey though.
This - I love it! You can use a 20% Buy Buy Baby coupon though (either at BBB or BRU). I had bought a Svan high chair but returned it (never used) - the Graco is just more comfy and offers better support IMO.
The one thing that turned me off from the Blossom is it doesn't fold, so we went with the DuoDiner LX. We had a bunch of people over on Saturday and being able to fold the legs up and stuff it in a corner was great. It must be really comfortable too because our baby fell asleep in it the first time we put her in it.
