Good morning to all my TTCAL lovelies. Excuse me if this isn't worded perfectly. I find myself a little verklempt.
***Just a reminder about the etiquette for posting a BFP: read this blog post about when it is appropriate to do so. I’ve been a regular member of this board for almost a year. If most people don’t know you, then posting a BFP probably isn’t for you. I'm sorry for anyone who felt a sting when reading this post. I've been there. However, I did not want to just disappear without explanation.***

Good morning to all my TTCAL lovelies. Excuse me if this isn't worded perfectly. I find myself a little verklempt.
Yesterday I got my BFP. (Thank you to those who chart stalked and cheered me on). I wanted to wait until today to write this post because I know that yesterday, Oct. 15, has a lot of significance to the loss community. Please know that so much love and ((hugs)) were being sent to each and everyone one of you yesterday. I am especially proud of those strong TTCALers who shared their stories with the greater world.
I'm trying not to read too much into the significance of the date, but I can't help feeling all tingly about the fact that after 3 losses, followed by 5 months on the bench, my BFP came on October 15. I feel hopeful and terrified, but mostly thankful for all of you smart, sassy, and all-around-beautiful women who have become my dear friends and helped me through the hardest year of my life.
I'm calling this my Hail Mary BFP because that's just what it was... a last ditch attempt at a natural BFP before we start meds & IUI next month. And because it's football season and I love football.
I don't know what will happen tomorrow or next week or next month. I know too well that I could be back here again in the blink of an eye. But today I am going to be hopeful. And grateful for all of you. I hope to see many of you over on PGAL before long. Until then, please know I'll be stalking, love titting, and cheering you on from the creepy lurker shadows.

Testing done: male with complete Trisomy 16, not hereditary. Tested me for clotting disorders, all normal.
Feb. 2014 all clear again to TTC! Will start progesterone supplementation with the next BFP just in case. Oct. 2014 more testing just because, thyroid and autoimmune panels = normal. Diagnostic U/S = no abnormalities. Will keep trying for 3-6 more months, doctor still optimistic!
