Weight loss/fitness check-in 10/13

It's late and I forgot to start this earlier. Maybe it was subconsciously because I gained 2 lbs this week and I feel guilty!

So how is it going?
Any tips you want to share this week?

We were out of town for a wedding this weekend and I totally went of my diet. I ate so much crap and it was so good, but I paid for it by gaining 2 lbs! I feel so bad but I am just trying to get back on it today. Sticking to my points and I went for a long walk this morning. I screwed up but I can't fix it now. Back on the horse...

  • I screwed up this past week. DH was on vacation and we ate junk all week. I refuse to step on the scale right now. Back at it this week though. This is going to be hard with the holidays coming up!

  • On week 2 of T25 and killing it... Scale says I've only lost 3lbs but I feel smaller already... Been eating clean and healthy so that helps... LO can't handle some foods so that def helps w my eating but I'd kill for a pizza, fries, and milk shake lol
  • Still walking my butt off (hopefully literally), but I don't own a scale so all I have to go by is looks & the fit of my clothes. Maybe I'll take my measurements and track progress in inches for motivation... In the meantime, feeling bummed about how I looked in some photos taken at a party this weekend. Reminding myself this is going to take time, and to be gentle with myself.

    Then ... today was a pretty trying day with Nico in the throes of Wonder Week #2, and I dealt with the extra stress by eating empty carbs almost exclusively. Sigh.

  • Down a lb from last week. I have 1 more week of no exercise bc of surgery (tubal) but I'm ready to hit it hard. :) no more kiddos means I want my body back at least a bit more like it used to be. :)

  • I'm down .6 according to WW. I really didn't stick to points all last week nor did I exercise. Making milk is saving me from a gain. I'm counting this week and went on a good walk today at the park with my mom. The trail is paved so I can push LO in the stroller but there are lots of hills along the trail so extra effort was in order. I definitely fell it when I go to bed.

    No big tips here. My WW leader told me that there is going to be a flash sale on the Active Link next week. She said they would be only $5. I use a FitBit and will not be buying one. Just passing it on incase anybody is interested. Hopefully it's not a regional sale.

  • I'm doing ok. DH and I completed week 1 of C25K. We are starting the 30 day ab challenge tomorrow. We were supposed to start today.. but Julia's been super fussy. I haven't been weighing myself, but my pants are slooowwwllyyy getting looser, and I lost another inch around my waist.. 4 more inches I'll be back to pre preg
  • I'm finally back "home" and hoping to start C25k once LO kicks jet lag and goes back to napping for longer than 20 minutes during the day. I'll sneak down to the apartment treadmill while my housekeeper keeps an eye on sleeping LO, or that's the plan anyway. On the bright side down a few pounds from my 6 week post partum weigh in (still up 10), but seriously soft everywhere.
  • I did my first hula hoop class today. I have to say, it was not what I was expecting. There was a lot more to it than just wiggling my hips, and it required more physical skill and precision than I had imagined. Good exercise, though, and lots of fun. I can feel it in my thighs and shoulders. Can't wait to see how I'm feeling tomorrow.
  • Have 11 pounds to go to get to my PPW. Eating low carb, low sugar and going on long walks. Oh, and pumping for baby...and for my waistline.

  • Went out to dinner this wkd and actually stuck to points. But blew basically all of my extra points on wine (how sad!) ha. Couldn't get to gym yesterday so went for a 3.5 mile walk with LO. Weighed myself today out of curiosity and I am same as last weigh in (which I guess is better than gaining
  • Don't get discouraged if you don't see the scale move- pounds don't mean anything, inches do. If you're working out, you will gain muscle. A better measure of weight lost is to measure your waist and hips, or by how your clothes fit
  • Starting week 3 of c25k. My diet has been atrocious. I am going to focus more on eating healthy and smaller portions because I have come to terms with the fact that I am not a calorie counter. I have not weighed myself. I think my weighin will be Friday.

    PP clothes fit but not really well ...

  • Having been walking a lot this week, only 10lbs away from pp weight. Which makes it about a 3lb weight loss this week? Haven't been running, waiting for my car seat adaptor for my jogging stroller to come in, and husband has been getting home too late from work for me to go. Walks have been nice though, and we've started hiking on the weekends. Could definitely do better food wise though!

    I do that for wine too! It's the one thing I really can't give up. :)

  • Hey it's been a while, but I wanted to report that I am doing well in training for a 1/2 marathon on Nov.2.  Did over 6 miles on Sunday and am mixing running with body pump and 30 day shred.  I just started a paleo diet that I plan on doing until Thanksgiving... wish me luck getting through Halloween!

  • I had a bad week.  Well it was a good week followed by a bad weekend!  My friends daughter turned 1 and they had cake, and cupcakes, a taco man and a margarita machine.  And then we went to all you can eat sushi.  I basically undid anything I had lost during the week in 1 day!  But I didn't gain so I guess we'll call it even?  It was nice sitting in the hot tub drinking margaritas after the kids went to bed....

    Anyway I'm back to my strict diet and no more junk food for me!  Also back to the 30 day shred, it's getting easier!

  • I just finished week 4 of c25k today, I'm slowly getting back into my running groove, pushing the double is no joke though! I've also been doing 30 day shred and biggest loser weight loss yoga a few days a week. I've got a ways to go (24lbs) to my PP weight, but just 10 more lbs down would be fantastic. I'm just 2 months post partum and gained quite a bit is pregnancy (60lbs) so I'm happy with my progress.

  • I've lost 5.4 lbs since the beginning of the month. No grains or sugar... And now I no longer crave carbs and have been consistently eating over 2,000 calories a day!

    Having an easier time learning what foods LO is sensitive to.. Brussel sprouts give her really bad gas.
  • Hey y'all! I'm going to join in on this thread since I finally am getting back on the exercise bandwagon. I go on walks twice a day with LO and the dogs but DH and I are starting a challenge group with Beachbody. We are doing PIYO and it is tough!!
