I watched an episode of Top Chef Duels last night and was surprised to find out that Dr. Hunt and Jo (Karev's gf) both are foreign with accents to match. She's English and he's Scottish and I don't like it. They didn't sound like "themselves". Now I'm worried that they're somehow ruined for me because I'll be thinking about those accents when I watch them on the show.

@JoyBaby5 I'd be so mad if my sister did that. I'd probably have a hard time keeping my mouth shut because big mouth and can't stand crap like that. Wth is wrong with her?!

@JoyBaby5‌ that's infuriating. My grandma did my aunt's laundry pretty much right up until she (my grandma) died. It was so inappropriate, and so is this. Would you like me to share my laundry strategy with SIL? A load a day. Sometimes it takes all damn day to get it from washer to folded, but we have clean clothes and no one is doing it for me.

JoyBaby5 Your SiL sounds like a peach.. Maybe your MiL offered so she can keep herself busy. I know when I have been in similar situations I like to keep my mind busy and sometimes monotonous chores do the trick. I

@joybaby5 - How selfish of your SIL.

But you know what went through my mind when I read "6 loads just sitting there?" I thought good for your MIL for letting it pile up and not feeling pressure to do it asap. Like, the fact that the laundry is just sitting there shows that your MIL has her priorities straight - she's tending to the most important stuff first, and not caring about the fact that your SIL has no clean clothing.

It still sucks, but I'm trying to see a silver lining.

@shellbell3845 - I'm sorry you're not feeling well.

If my family in NY lived closer I'd make them deliver soup! And my pediatric ICU nurse of a sister could babysit your LO.

OMG I'm going to kill Mr. Pup. Our water just got cut off. I don't know if he didn't pay the bill, or gave them the wrong move-out date or what, but some dudes just rolled up and did something outside, and now the water is off.

I'm making the $hellBell Family Christmas List, mostly for my mom. Mr. $hell has a dozen things on the list I made for him; LO has like 40 things. And me? I have a book (and a notation that asks for a free afternoon to read said book).

I honestly didn't know what they were doing until they left. I called the water people, turns out my H paid a bill at the end of August, and nothing since. He could have sworn he paid one in September, but apparently, he didn't.

I was absolutely livid at my H, and at the water people because we have received literally no warnings. Nothing in the mail. Willa and I make a date of checking the mail every day, I would have seen it! They had no explanation for me about that - basically said "we don't send warnings, we just turn it off."

So I had to pay over $200 for a bill that should have cost us $60. I'm less angry at my H though...he feels absolutely sick over this and so, so guilty. He's literally never not paid a bill in his entire life. He is the kind of guy who writes a check the exact same day the bill arrives. So this is clearly out of character for him and he feels horrible.

But UGHHHH ANNOYING to have to deal with this today! As if I don't have enough going on! lol.

Yes, this is fantastic thinking. I'm oddly team expensive nutcracker for you.. I'd never spend that much on something like that. But they're your thing.

I'm reading an article about the second health care worker with Ebola and the article has screen shots of tweets posted by the Dallas police department. Each of them ends with #DallasEbola which just seems weird to me. Hashtags have really become a fun playful thing so it just seems wrong.

I know. We are both incredibly confused. I went back through all the mail I've been collecting to double check, and nope, nada from any utility company whatsoever.

If I weren't moving I would fight this to the end, but seeing as I have 389472847289 things going on, I simply don't have the energy. Or the time. The girl at City Hall was playing clueless, and I just basically said fuck it.

But I just talked to the moving company, and they at least were wonderful. They're ready to go, will be getting here as early as possible, and the lady could not have been more reassuring and helpful. That's one less thing for me to worry about!

God I feel so ridiculously embarrassed about this water thing. I've never had that happen before and neither has my H.

We are normally those really annoying, super organized people when it comes to finances, and it's really bothering me that this happened!

Legit lol while sitting here pumping. You're surprisingly close. It has to do with financial irresponsibility but not with those nutcrackers. If elf can afford them then more power to her and her very merry six foot plastic men.
