    If you all don't mind me asking, are these all with an individual place and not your dr? Would it be possible to have one at the doctor appointment I have scheduled at 16w if I ask? Is it because of insurance that you're going to the individual places? Sorry, I need to call my insurance because in my online portal it just tells me a percentage for maternity coverage and not specifics of what is covered, what isn't.

    My doctor does the anatomy scan at 20 weeks. They want the rest of the organs to be fully developed. Insurance only covers the necessary ultrasounds. Or ones they deem necessary. This is at an ultrasound place. Not affiliated with the doctors office. The woman is a board certified sonographer.

    We are getting one! Our parents wanted to be a part of it so we decided to do one... Mainly because they do Saturday appointments and no one has to take off work. I'm excited and totally OK with being called impatient!!

    Just wanted to post and say that we just had our first ultrasound and everything looks perfect in there! Our lo is kicking and jumping and holding her/his own hands and I couldn't be happier!!!!!!! We will be waiting until 18 weeks to find out if it's a boy or girl but right now it doesn't even matter!

    We are doing an elective u/s next Saturday at 15 weeks as well! Can't wait to hopefully find out the sex.

    11/24/14- DX with Complete Placenta Previa (Stage IV)

    1/12/15- Placenta Previa has moved to Marginal!! (Stage II)

    My cousin does 3D/4D ultrasounds so we have ours set up for the 27th! I'll be 17w2d so hopefully we can get a clear picture!! So excited and I can't wait!!! (:

    I want to schedule one so bad. The closest one to me is about $75 dollars. My husband said we should just wait. So we will find out dec 5 what we are having. Only waiting forever.

    It's only $65 here so we scheduled one for 15w4d because the way my appointment fell at the OB I won't get an anatomy scan until 21w or so. Only $10/week to know 6 weeks sooner sounds like a good deal to me (and a good way to justify it!)

    The one 30 minutes from me charges $50-$99 depending on if you want only 2D or 3D. Our appointment is next Saturday on the 25th!! It's an early birthday present to me, since my birthday is on Nov. 1st! WE CAN'T WAIT!! :D

    Why feeling guilty? Well it is not going to harm the baby and will make you happy...so why not? :)
    It is not my thing though....I don't want to know the baby's sex at all, neither does my husband :) to each his own...chill

    I think it's awesome, if i could find something reasonably priced, I'd go for it! Ours are a bit if a drive away and around $100.

    I did one a little past 14 wks! I'm so impatient I couldn't wait and it was only like $60...so worth it!! Lol

    I'm not sure I would trust an option at 14 weeks. I do think it's possible to know. But even at 16 weeks I may really wait for any big decisions until hearing at my 20 a/s.

    I have my anatomy scan scheduled for December 2nd. If baby is cooperating, my husband and I want to know the sex. I scheduled a 3D/4D ultrasound for December 18th. They will not offer gender determination before 20 weeks. I booked the 3D/4D a few weeks after our anatomy scan, so we have a second opportunity to find out the sex before Christmas (if baby isn't cooperating for the anatomy scan) :)

    There's a place around here that does them for $49 starting at 15 weeks so I think we're going to find out early. I am too darn impatient to wait! ;)
