Good news (bfp)--for my ladies who need a pick up!

So, hubby and I have been ttc for a while, not the rough road I know many have been on (bestie went through the ivf hell, so I feel for you ladies, I really really do!). Anyways, the hubby's father is very very sick, stage 4, and hubby's really hoping to give him good news before it's too late.

So we bought a cbfm, and September was the first time I didn't get an egg. But guess what! I'm 5w5d! So here's a big fu to all our struggles and the random great news I wish for all of us!!

OP please edit your title to have BFP included. I'm not really sure why you thought women who have been struggling with ttc would be totally cheered up by a complete stranger's pregnancy, but that firecracker has already been lit. Edit your title so people don't come in here looking for a laugh only to find this.

So disappointing. I had a BFN this morning. Have been very upset about it on top of lots of stresses at work today. Thought this would be an actual pick me up like puppies or kittens or alcohol or something...

Take a look at the other 2 BFPs on the 1st page right now...so many positive comments & allllll the squees!!11! Because those women became part of this community, offered support to others and built relationships with people. We're all pretty super friendly to strangers who don't wave their pregnancies in our faces.

For someone who needed a pick me up today you did exactly opposite of that.

Yes, we are supposed to be happy for others... but that's for those of us who have been supporting each other day in and and day out.

If a stranger came up to me in the grocery store and said "hey! guess what! I am knocked the fuck up! You're welcome!!!!"

I might punch them.

Please think nice and long and hard before you make selfish posts like these.... and I would suggest not commenting anymore. You should just move on.
