My mil taught Alex how to make the golf cart move despite mh specifically telling her not to. X( Iam still all kinds of mad and that was 12 hrs ago. I only see how much harm can come from this.
Ooh now his girlfriend is over and they're arguing. Apparently, she's mad that he doesn't ever want to leave the house. Me too girl, me too. :-< I guess I'll give them another 15 minutes.
I hate it when DC is closed and I'm not off. I don't know why it makes me so sad, but I just feel like I should be spending the time with him. Plus, he cried so hard when he realized he was being strapped in to my dad's car seat and I wasn't going with him
But I have -3.75 hours of vacation, so I'm just thankful my mom took off work so I didn't have to.
I woke up this morning with so much ambition to do a quick workout and then my two little ones woke up and wanted breakfast, snuggle time, etc so that workout did not happen. I missed my kiddos because they were at MIL's this weekend but I really wanted to start my week with a workout. Guess I'll have to fit it in somewhere else today.
Morning ladies. Love the spam title but not that the neighbor has it on repeat!
I'm currently wolfing down my cheerios as LO stirs about in his crib making the strangest sleepy noises. We call him Casper the Friendly Ghost sometimes because he'll be laying completely still but making the funniest noises.
Have a good Monday everyone, if that's possible!!

I forgot dh is off today. And instead of sleeping in he got up earlier than usual and came down to help with breakfast. Score!!!
I think he's still smarting and turning up his game because I admitted dreaming that I met Tom Hanks at a party and kissed him. Totally random, but envy-inspiring for my DH.
@simone711 I started in August "> In my defense, it was because we were at a craft fair and I found some really nice gifts. I haven't bought anything since then.
I'm feeling better today and so is P. He's supposed to get his flu shot on Wednesday, but I know they can't if they've been sick. But I'm not sure what the rule is. He's basically only had a runny/stuffy nose, no fever. Should I call and make sure it's still okay to get his shot? I don't want to get there and have to reschedule.
@KikiCohen both my kids had colds and were able to get their flu shots. The nurse said it is fine as long as they do not have fevers.
DH is off today and I am so glad I used a vacation day! We are meeting friends at a fall festival at a nearby farm. It is sunny and supposed to be 60's today.
Morning! We are still laying in bed. I'm thinking about the donuts downstairs. Nothing planned for the day so I'm not sure what me and Ty will do. Probably play outside since that's Ty's favorite thing to do! @mermomo5 that's so cute about the little kids trick or treating.
Good morning ladies. We had a busy weekend with the ILs visiting etc. DH is at a conference all day so DD and I will be watching the house as contractors come and go. Maybe eventually we will have our basement back!
DH and I are trying to plan an early anniversary trip for next month and I'm already having anxiety about leaving DD for a couple days. We have never been apart for more than a few hours so it's terrifying and exciting at the same time!
@stephyfaith We're invited to a wedding that will be over the weekend of our wedding anniversary. It's a no kids wedding, so we're considering just making a weekend out of it (it's close enough that we wouldn't actually need to spend the night otherwise) and I'm already having anxiety about leaving P. And we're talking about May. 7 months away.
Good morning! I had a headache for almost a week straight, that I finally got rid of yesterday morning, it was awful. MH got up with DS at 7 and let me sleep in until 9. I plan to talk to my doctor about it tomorrow at my physical. Since I felt better, I was able to clean the house, catch up on laundry, take DS to a play date and the park, and make dinner!
Today was also a nice surprise, re: traffic. I forgot 3/4 of the city is off today. Yay for no traffic!

This kid may not have a lot of bowel, but he has plenty of guts! DS born at 34 weeks with (surprise!) gastroschisis turned short bowel syndrome. 131 days in the NICU, 7 trips to the OR, G-button, daily TPN....
We are impatiently awaiting the day we can say goodbye to his girlfriend Ivy for good.
We are suppose to do the pumpkin farm with friends today. I was excited. To get the kids' pumpkin pictures done - they even have cute new halloween shirts. It is soaking wet outside. The other moms still. Want to go (they all have 1 5 year old so they don't have to worry as much about wet kids). We don't have rain boots that fit - we couldn't find any this year. I don't have winter boots out yet. DH lost. LO's shoe yesterday so I don't have her stride rights. 8-}. This easy little adventure is becoming a logistical nightmare.
Enjoy your day off or the lighter traffic or day after thanksgiving. basically, happy Monday.
Just playing with toilet paper and looking good, the usual.

I may be the only person that doesn't like the pina colada song. I really dislike it. It's catchy and has a nice hook but the content is horrible. It's not okay and catchy to cheat on your spouse. I don't care that at the end of the song they realize they are meant for each other. The fact of the matter is they both were willing to cheat on the other. What if they weren't meeting each other?
Off my soapbox.
DH quit his weekend job and his last day was yesterday. This is so good. I get him on the weekends again! I don't have to pay for a sitter every Friday! I will miss seeing my bestie every Friday but she needs to move on too so she gets a real job and can move out of her situation. It's a good thing for her too but I'm sad about that part. This weekend we're going to a birthday party for my nephew (he turns 1) and the pumpkin patch!

I feel like the piña colada song is sweet. It's like both people are done with the relationship and moving on (one placing an ad and one answering an ad) and they come to find out they are right for each other by chance and rekindle the romance. Neither spouse can be too mad - they were both looking.
Liam has had rough two nights and I have been so busy but last night he sttn. At 530am he woke up with a nice seal barking hack and doctors are closed today.

Strudel & Curious George with Alex. I totally thought today was costume day at Abby's school. So she's a cowboy ballerina today. I misread but she sure is cute!
I want to try cooking meat for DD (and DH) in a slow cooker. I don't eat meat and I want minimal touching it or smelling it while raw or really even looking at it otherwise barf. What is the best type of animal to get where I can just cut open a package and toss it in? I don't want to trim anything, wash anything, etc.
