Food allergy experiences?

Has anyone had any experience with food allergies with their breastfed babies? In the last 24 hours, I have noticed some blood in the LOs stool in a few diapers. I'm not seeking medical advice here and I will absolutely be calling her pediatrician first thing Monday morning. I was reading on kellymom though and food sensitivity is a possibility. I'm thinking about all the dairy I have consumed in the last 48 hrs or so. (I drank a whole lot of milk yesterday for some reason). So today I am going to cut dairy for the next 24-48 hours and see if anything changes. 

Just curious if anyone has any experience to share, things to look for, reasons why it probably is/isn't an allergy?

    @casey78 Good to know. Now that it's a reasonable hour and I can think straight I'll look for past threads about it as well. Anyway, I thought I'd just hold off on dairy just incase until I see the doctor. I happened to drink a lot of milk and eat quite a bit of cheese and yogurt the day prior to noticing this. But t also came after her cluster feeding for 11 hrs and then having terrible gas.
