Hey guys! I got my drink on tonight.....then BOTH kids woke up and ended that. I was influenced by last night's adult colouring book talk. Just placed my online order. Shopping cart consisted of: Victorian Houses Colouring Book, Arabic Floral Patterns Colouring Book, The Fetish Colouring Book and a Robert Munsch Treasury. I'm sure whoever is packing that box will get a good laugh.
It's not easy being a Steelers fan married to a Browns fan. There will be a little tension in my house during the game tomorrow. We mostly have fun with the rivalry, but it's a big game this time. Hopefully I'll be waving my terrible towel in the faces of my crying husband and children after the win. Oops. That's not very nice of me.
@triplea598 hugs to you. That is tough. I've been there. It's hard feeling like you have been betrayed and need to get away for a while, especially with a LO in tow.
@SweetTurnip I hope his levels are down. DD1 was jaundice and it was so stressful worrying about if it was getting better or worse once we got home.
I just bought cupcakes. I'm so excited. My baby learned how to scream/screech and it's so loud. I don't anticipate it being quiet for another 18+ years.
I'm watching Hostel II on cable. I hate the censoring and commercials, but I'm too lazy to see if it's on amazon or netflix. And I have an amazon and netflix button on my tv remote. lol
Family had to take my aunt off suppOrt today. We weren't super close but she was a big part of my childhood and it's just reminding me how removed I am from my family. My dad was the youngest sibling and we moved around a lot while his family all stayed in Michigan. Missing them
OMG Why am I watching this? The Hostel movies freak me out. I know. I'll watch Strangers and Taken after this. I will have nightmares about all of the possible sick and twisted people in the world.
Kids always have the best timing @brighteyes112. I hope he goes back to sleep quickly.
Thanks. He's up. He NEVER does this. Oh well H is home for once so he can help.
We rarely host poker nights anymore, but the last time we did, DS2 was in kindergarten and woke up with monster leg cramps. He was never waking up at night anymore. I took care him obviously and felt terrible for him, but all I could think about was the great hand I folded to rush to him. Darn kids.
@klondikebar man this cider is refreshing, thanks for the push. Can you convinve SO to go to bed so I can enjoy some TV without him snoring in the living room?
Horror movies used to be my thing, now I get all kinds of scared and jumpy and have nightmares.
I think I am taking my cider and computer to the bedroom, he insists on not going to bed... fine sleep int he reclincer and I will get all comfy cozy in bed
@privacywanted I am all for parents skipping out, but only if their kids are able to handle it, don't leave me your kid if they are going to freak out. Also kinda weird if this is the first time with this mom, I mean she must be really trusting to leave her kid...? OK yes, its weird.
So at 4, do you expect play dates to still involve parents ?
Because I did. But got an email confirming for tomorrow with a "and then just let me know what time to pick her up "
I totally would. How to politely respond while making it clear you'll be staying now!
Well she's apparently dropping her off her. I'm not sure how to politely say "I don't want to watch your annoying kid"
This girl is so Whiney and picky and demanding. I am still unsure how I came to agree to a play date. Then at our house. And now I'm babysitting ?
Re: No drinking thread

I think you should have one just to take the edge off of the day and get a little sleepy. Then have many more tomorrow.
Thanks. Going to take your advice on this one. Maybe SO will go to bed early and I can binge watch dance moms
