Cravings...

It's 1:30 in the morning... Badly want pickles and cream cheese.... Tempted to go to wallyworld... But that would involve me getting out of bed!!! What are your cravings????

  • Today it was apples and anything spicy. So I made curry spiced baked apples with a Moroccan couscous salad. And I chugged spiced cider for dinner.
    Who knows what cravings tomorrow will bring.

  • Also, I've really wanted a glass of rose all weekend. I can smell it and it sounds amazing. But must wait til May. Ugh.
  • I eat pickles all day at work...yummy!

    It's 11:30 but I could go for some pumpkin spiced cider about now

  • At the moment I cannot get enough peanut butter on toast. My work is a nut free zone as one of the kids I work with is allergic so I can't have my pb on toast there but I've been having it for breakfast every morning and then when I get home from work. Give me all the peanut butter!

  • I don't really think I've had any cravings yet. Sometimes I want something but nothing weird or a desperate need for it. I am kinda bummed cause I always thought I would have to wake up DH in the middle of the night to go get me ice cream or something. I was looking forward to it ;)

    hahaha I am the same, I do have a LOT of aversions but nothing that I "can't get enough of"
    TON of aversions here too.  I've had a few mild cravings, but nothing I need right this second.  Usually, because of aversions, it takes me a few days and some research find the thing I want in exactly the way I want it.  

    For example, took me about a week to find just PLAIN Chicken Salad (no raisins or nuts, and NOT made with rotisserie chicken).  Also, turns out my craving for broccoli cheddar soup was very specific to Panera's version...took me about a week of searching to figure that out.

  • It's less craving and more suggestible on my end. Someone mentioned french fries the other day so I had to have fries.

  • I am the exact same way. I used to eat chicken like it was going out of style, now the thought of it literally makes me sick!:(
    I have also been craving anything and everything spicy and sour candy especially sour skittles!!!!
  • I think every day for about 5 days I've gone to Starbucks morning and afternoon for an everything bagel with cream cheese and a peppermint hot chocolate. My husband was looking at our bank account online and said "oh, I see you spent $19 at Starbucks in two days".
  • My cravings are normally cake or cookies things like that and fast food... All stuff that I should stay away from, unfortunatly.

  • I have had lots of aversions! I am however craving KFC mashed potatoes and gravy and they closed the one right down the street! The closest one is now miles away! Hmm maybe I can get DH to get on his way home from work... [-O<
  • My consistent craving lately has been chicken salad sandwiches. Which is funny, because normally I don't like chicken salad.
    I went through 2 weeks where I got chicken salad on a roll every morning.

  • I feel like I really want pasta all the time but pasta has always been my favorite. Any pasta! Mac and cheese, pesto cavatappi, Alfredo, any ravioli! I love pickles though too... Other than that I haven't had any cravings.

    On a previous craving post someone mentioned that they have "a very suggestible stomach" which I agreed with and it has been reconfirmed that this is the case because all of a sudden I would KILL for French onion soup.... thanks  @sleeysheep85 I now know what is for dinner :)

    I'm all about beef chimichangas today. H surprised me and had one waiting for me at home. I can't explain how happy I was at the sight of it.
  • Last night I read this chain and woke up at 2:00 AM wanting a peppermint soy hot chocolate and a bagel with cream cheese. I guess I also have a suggestible stomach. Thanks @mrsalvidrez‌

  • As of lately, everything I want, I can't have. Apparently, I've developed a sensitivity to any meat beside chicken and dairy products. It makes me extremely nauseous afterwards. Cold fruits and salad it is.

  • I want kfc mashed potatoes soooooooo bad! The one by my house is no longer there for some stupid reason and the closest one is being remodeled! Wtf!
  • Chicken cheese steak and tacos. Every now and again I crave them so bad that I refuse to eat anything other than that.
  • Big Macs. Actually, it's just the special sauce on the Big Mac. I want to buy a gallon of it and put it on everything. Gross and fantastic all at the same time.
  • Carbs! Bagels, biscuits, pasta, pizza, fries. Everything I shouldn't be eating. I've had terrible m/s so my doctor said whatever I feel like eating is fine in the 1st trimester.
  • I really hoped I'd crave things like veggies, tofu or beans buuuuuut nope! Peanut butter banana smoothies, chips and dip, avgolemeno soup and homemade puffed wheat squares!
  • Potatoes.  Baked, mashed, boiled, fried--anything you can do with a potato.  

    I can't stand meat right now though, the thought and smell make me gag on the spot.

  • I can't eat anything at the mo, I mean anything!! Even reading the names of food on here is making me queasy! I'm so fed up of it and feeling so guilty that I'm not eating all the healthy foods!! I take two or three bites of something that I force down and that's it! I'm 13+3 so I'm really hoping it eases off soon. I actually had a little cry writing this post :((
  • You ladies are making me more hungry than I already am! Dill pickles and pickle juice is an everyday delicasy. But today it's really overcast and cold where I am so I am craving a salad and enchilada soup from chili's. So, in approximately 1 hour or so I will be making my online order and getting the much needed food. Plus, their chips and salsa are the bomb-diggity so I can't pass those up either.

  • The only thing I ever craved with dd was fries. This time around I am craving so much. As many things I am wanting there are more that I can't even think about eating. The main thing right now is watermelon. Which kinds sucks because now it's out of season so they aren't as good.

    yup I feel that exactly. the few things I have said to H " you know what would be good...." he always gets me because the list is so small of things I actually DO want or can handle.

    how the hell does someone who usually eats chicken 5+ nights a week all of a sudden get gaggy at the thought of it?
    Most of our meals were made out of chicken too :(  Me and chicken seem to be making up a little, though.  Hope you're feeling better too @souptin

    @nincompoopery‌ we went 2 days ago, DH got the Halloween burger pictured above. The onions smelled good but I couldn't get past the grey bun and black sauce, DH loved it. Plus, I'm not tolerating meats very well lately.

  • Today we went shopping and DH had to stop and get gas he brought me 2 things of starbursts and before he got back in the truck they were gone...still during for anything sour...skittles, worms, sour patch kids, lemonade with almost no sugar added, etc. And lastly salad I could live off salad with cheese, craisens, tomatoes, and garlic butter croutons..rotating between Italian and Catalina dressing.
    @MOtownMama‌ and @kris10michelle‌ I made pot roast tonight for dinner....the results: DH has decided I need to be in a pot roast eating contest lmao :)
  • Big mac sauce is actually just thousand island dressing mixed with mayonnaise. I used to make it and put it on random things

  • Don't feel like it's a craving... But have been eating lots of cereal (which I never ate before) and am getting a toasted bagel w cream cheese almost daily before work! Also candy, lots of sour candies... So bad for me! I keep saying pregnancy is rotting my teeth.
