Intro :)

Hi everyone. I'm Cyndi. I have been lurking on this board all week and thought it was time to introduce myself. I haven't ever posted on any boards before, so please forgive me if I mess up any of the numerous acronyms. I am 43 and just found out I am pregnant!! I will be 6 weeks on Monday. A little bit about me...I recently (June 30th) married my best friend and moved into a new home. I have an amazing, 17 (yep 17) year old son. He is truly the light of my life and my whole world. In addition, I am a working mom (Elementary school principal). It may sound unrealistic, but I am completely stunned by this pregnancy. I honestly didn't think I would get pregnant at this stage of my life. My husband is over the moon and I am cautiously optimistic. Truthfully, I am terrified on many levels. My last pregnancy was very hard. Although it was so long ago, I remember it vividly and just keep waiting for the symptoms to kick in. As luck would have it, my OB was on vacation last week when I called to schedule an appointment. So, I will be setting all of that up next week. I am feeling so many different things, that this post could go on and on, but I won't bore you with all of that. I am hoping to meet people who are on similar journeys on this board.
