I learned very quickly the jammies with snaps are the devil.
I only used my moby 3 times. Ergo was way better.
I think I used everything else but I also didn't have a lot. I bought things as I went so I only bought what I needed.
I was the opposite. Loved snaps and hated zippers!
You crazy, @ZAP12! Snaps in the dark on zero sleep made me borderline homicidal! This is why I hate that so many of the cutest PJs use them!
You're both nuts- Super long nightgowns with the elastic bottoms FTW! When I'm sleep deprived I need simplicity.
I also use receiving blankets constantly. I baby wear, and so far 2 out of my 3 kids have been happy spitters, so we used the blankets for burp cloths, and tucked under/around their chins and necks to keep my cleavage barf free.

Agreed! I hated the zippers because you had to take off the whole sleeper to change a diaper. Maybe I was doing it wrong but I always felt bad for little man taking off most of what he was all cozy in just to change his diaper. For us, snaps FTW.
D14 November Siggy Challenge: The feels of 3rd trimester...
My glider was my best purchase, hands down. I did every single feeding privately in the nursery snuggled up in that chair. It was such a wonderful experience. I still rock and read stories with my 2 year old in that chair, but I am moving it into the new nursery in December. My biggest waste was a bottle warmer (but that was bc my DS took his bottles cold and room temp, go figure), and "outfits" up to 3 months. I also had several expensive onesies- a complete waste. I didn't use the changing table after about the first 3 months. The bumbo was awesome- but for only a few months. And, I monogrammed some stuff for my DS (part of bedding, car seat canopy, etc...) which I am mad about now b/c I am having another boy and re-using everything. So my advice on that is - don't monogram! Overall, my philosophy was to start simple and if it works don't complicate things (ie...I tried the cold bottle and it worked so I never changed). Have fun!
