I began getting monitored for pre-eclampsia at 28 weeks. Luckily, I was just put on moderate bed rest and was OK.. Our daughter was born at 34 weeks via c-section when I entered into full blown eclampsia. I'm sorry you are going through this...Sending positive vibes to you! You are at the best place- they will monitor you and do whats best for you and that precious baby!
i'm so sorry this is happening to you! i'm glad they caught it though. hang in there hon...i hope aiden stays put at least a little while longer so he can be as ready as possible when the time comes.

Finally got back on. My 24 hour catch ends at midnight, so we should know more in the morning. My blood pressure has been fairly 'normal' all day without meds...except after the Ob and the perinatologist came to talk to me (I think I have white coat syndrome!) hoping for a good night and getting released tomorrow...to bed rest at home and seeing a specialist once a week until aiden arrives.
@honeybeee3 my room does have a DVD player and I was able to hook my computer up to the tv to watch netflix...and I'm not on a restricted diet...so we can totally still have our dinner and movie night!! Hahaha
I truly appreciate everyone's comments and love all the creepy Internet hugs:) January '15 is one incredible group of women!! You have definitely helped keep me a lil sane today.
I am so sorry to hear. My BP the last two weeks has been creeping up. No protein in my urine though, so my doc put me on a BP med twice daily. It has been working thus far, so I'm hoping I can keep going! I am so scared and don't want to be delivering this early. Thinking of you!

Definitely news I wanted to hear!! @MusicFanatic and @Robs Baby Girl, I finally got my catch results and there was barely any protein!! So for now they are steering clear of a pre-e diagnosis, but a gestational chronic hypertension. Received discharge papers, some BP meds, and a BP monitor for home. I see a specialist on Monday and will report my BP 4 times a day. So we will just watch and try to keep everything normal!! It's crazy what a night can change! Those were definitely not looking like options from my doctors last night. Feeling so blessed and so thankful. Thank you for all the good thoughts...I know they helped!!

YEAH! Best news all day!! So happy to hear this! Hopefully the BP meds work and you have no more scares!

I am so sorry to hear that! Hopefully you are doing better and blood pressure is trending in the right direction. It's better they caught this early. With my DD I started having high blood pressures and was monitored but it seemed to be pregressing slowly and I had serious complications. Not to scare you but hopefully catching things early can turn it around for you
Well...just when I get released for a few days...I'm back in labor and delivery. This time they are saying I definitely have pre-eclampsia (even though less than 48 hours ago I didn't?!)...they put me back on a mag sulfate drip, upped the BP meds and are watching the numbers. As of tonight, they told me I should get comfy since they don't think I'll be going anywhere anytime soon.
So hard to deal with after being released Friday afternoon with the ok to return to my normal life of work and school! But mainly worried about the very real outcome of elivering a baby before 30-34 weeks.
Oh no! So sorry to hear this (and that you're on mag). Being in the hospital sucks, but at least you'll have the monitoring you need to keep you both safe. Hope they can get it under control quickly and that LO stays put!
