Hello. I am 6 weeks pregnant. I had a D&C on August 18th after an ultrasound revealed no heartbeat at 16 weeks. I then had my period on August 29 and was cleared to try again but I still thought it would take at least a few months if not more. I am very happy to be pregnant again. I have a two year old daughter and during her pregnancy I never even thought about miscarriage. Now it is all I can worry about and as excited as I am, it is hard to let myself enjoy it. Last time everything was great until my 4 month appointment when there was no heartbeat for seemingly no reason. I go to the OB for the first time on Nov 5th and am hoping everything looks ok but even if it does I'm not sure I can relax given my last experience. Has anyone had a similar situation of becoming pregnant so quickly after a D&C?

    Thank you! It was so hard to loose the last baby with no answers as to why. I am trying to be cautiously optimistic about this pregnancy.
