@redrocksmama nope, not crazy. When we went out of town for 4 nights and the IL's watched DS, they had a document I created titled "What does my day look like?" It listed options for what he usually eats for each meal, snacks, approximate wake/nap times, and the bedtime routine.

@redrocksmama, I did the same thing the first night we both were away from Landon (one month before Caleb was born--so my parents could "practice" for when they were going to watch him while I was in the hospital for my delivery). It was just one night, and we were just downtown for our anniversary, but I definitely had 2-3 pages of instructions...

Where are you guys going for the wedding? Hope it's somewhere fun!

Thanks for thinking of me! All of the well wishes have been a bright spot in my day. My appt is in a little over an hour. I finally finished getting the kids ready (so annoyed, DH was suppose to) and dropped off and trying to shower/shave/brush teeth in the teeny amount of time before I leave. Fx I will have awesome news like @ramy3.

No one needed a jury today so done by noon. Came home and DD found the tablet so Elsa is signing on repeat and DD is so happy she is panting.

Thanks ladies. I knew I couldn't be the only one giving instruction lists to the grandparents.

@DenverBride2005, we are staying in Estes Park and the wedding is just a few miles down the road from there in Allenspark. According to the couple's wedding website, there is no cell phone service at the wedding location so I that's fueling my anxiety. I hate that my parents wouldn't be able to reach us for a few hours if they have a question.

On my way to appt - freakin huge accident has road closed or down to one lane (too far back to see). There is never accidents here and if we have to go around we will be 30 minutes late. And my OB won't see me.

Edit: road is completely shut down because there is gas on the road.

I am wearing fuzzy socks today. They make me so warm and comfy.

Another reason I can't wait for moving. I can actually bundle up in comfy clothes and snuggle by the wood stove.

Now I still have to wear shorts and a tank since our apartment is always so warm.

I just ordered my books for the book exchange. I had them ship directly to my book buddy's house and the company did not have a gift option..sorry if it is accompanied with a receipt. However, I am super excited and got a great deal, I can't wait for them to arrive!!!!!

I was in a waiting room earlier and a girl about 15 or so was there with her dad. She was taking selfies and doing all these weird poses and twisting her face around in front of 20+ strangers like it was a regular thing to do. What is she going to do with those? #pediatrician ? IS THIS NORMAL NOW??!

Anyone with an anywhere chair or similar product - where do you use yours most of the time? I'm considering whether to match it to her bedroom or the living room. If you got a lighter colour - do stains wash out easily? Thanks laayyydies.

I have a serious obsession with Dance Moms. Tonight Allison and I were watching an episode and she was clapping at the end of the performances. It was sooo freakin cute.

Maybe she will be my little dancer

or just enjoy watching dance and music performances with mom!

I think we'll also go with Uglysofa. I can't decide between the pink one with polka dots (matches her room) or the brown one with the owl on it, which would look better in the living room. WDYguysT? I also like the green, but the living room walls and a different green so maybe that would look bad.

Thank goodness tomorrow is Friday. I have had more than enough of this week. We had to say goodbye to good friends tonight. They have kids a year older and six months younger than Ben. H worked with the husband for three years. Our kids went to DC together. It makes me sad.

I am annoyed by daycare. DH got a note stating 3 diarrhea poops so no daycare tomorrow at pick up. But there was no phone call. And his daily sheet only lists two.

If my kid is sick, I want to know right away.
If you are going to enforce the 3x rule, document each instance.
(We both suspect teacher is stretching the truth.)

Of course this happens on a week when I gave a big deadline on Fri and am behind.

Our center rule was they had to have 3 in 2 hours to be sent home. And even then it was an immediate call after diaper 3. I would be annoyed too.

my friend (who is a dance teacher) and I love it!

DH hates the show and I had to stop watching it around him because he thought that is how all dance studios are. It was killing my chances of getting Allison into dance. Hehe.

In our living room. DS loves his so much it causes fights with LO. Guess who's getting a chair for christmas.

@PickleX we keep ours in the living room. She plays on it quite a bit and understands, "sit in your chair" so that's helpful if she starts trying to mess with the entertainment center doors or end tables.

@missymr the PBK store at our mall had them in stock in store. You buy the chair and cover separately. If you want PB to personalize it, you need to order it online, but if you want to buy in the store, they referred folks to a kiosk in the mall.

We got the brown one without any personalization because it went nicely with our living room furniture
