Vague, I know! I am a little confused.

6w3d today, had first appointment. U/S showed properly sized sac, a yolk, and a 'hint' of a fetal pole (dr.'s words). Got blood drawn for betas, need to go again on saturday for comparison. Next appointment, next Thursday. He honestly didn't seem even a little concerned, said everything measured normal, but then he didn't give me any of the photos he took (he printed them) so not sure what that means. My husband said it was probably just because they didn't show anything, I feel like it was a bad sign.

Either way, not much to do but stay busy for another week and see what happens!

Fingers (and all the other things) crossed!

I hope everything is all fine!! I'm sure your doctor would bring up if there was any concerns after seeing that. I'll cross my fingers for you though!

They keep copies of your u/s photos to compare with your next ones

And I think it sounds positive, so I'll keep my FX for more good news at your next appointment. Will you get the results of your betas in the meantime?

I TOTALLY meant to ask at LabCorp, like if they post them somewhere, but I totally spaced. I was starving and just wanted to get home for lunch :-D I am just glad they are taking the blood, this new doctor was meh, seemed nervous from the get-go (not nervous related to my US, he was nervous before too, so that I guess is good) but I am glad I had to see an OB first because the Midwives were all booked. I will swap to a midwife once everything is up and running.

I had to ask for a picture, I guess she thought I didn't want them? I was about to walk out without any pictures.

I'm sure everything is fine. Its just a little early.

My us tech said they don't like to give the print outs when you can't easily see the baby which is why I don't have mine

idk if that's the case with your dr but that's how it is at mine.

FX for you! I'm not sure if you ever mentioned it, but did you chart? I could only guess that you aren't quite as far along you are dated but everything else sounds good!

My RE usually does first ultrasounds 6.5weeks to 7weeks for the highest chance of seeing everything.

But I heard some RE's wont do it until 8 weeks just to be really sure.

I go to Quest for my labs but they're practically the same place. Check out LabCorp's website, you might be able to register and see your lab results online. That's what Quest does so I'd be surprised if LabCorp doesn't do the same thing.

FX! Limbo is sucky, but I agree it doesn't sound concerning now and I had to ask for copies of my us too.

You can get your lab results with Lab Corp! Just sign up for an account and when they are posted they go to your inbox :-)

Thanks for the labcorp info! I'll check it out as soon as I get home!! @CrazyCupcake52‌ - I was charting, O'd around the 12th, which i think is pretty spot on, but I'll have to double check all that when I'm on my computer at home. @wendyful‌ I'm 6w3d, which is petty much exactly 6.5 weeks, but I could be a day or two early, also I saw someone else's US pic with yolk sac like a diamond ring, and mine did not look like that, so I'm extra concerned that they are just being optimistic :-/

If you O'd on the 12th, you would be about 5w6d today. So a few days earlier than what your LMP dates and a sac with yolk would be completely normal.

@CrazyCupcake52‌ I double checked since my kindara is working again, I actually got a positive OPK on 9/7, so O was probably the 8 or 9, maaaaybe the 10th judging by my notes. So that's back to 6 weeks again :-/ I'm still trying to be optimistic, but there is now some brown blood (although they did give me a pap at the appointment) and oddly (TMI WARNING!!) I also have crumbly CM, like if think I have a yeast infection except there is no pain or odd smell. No idea what that all means.

I am sorry you are feeling at all uncertain. If they did a pap I wouldn't put that much stock in any light brown spotting. I spotted anytime anything got remotely near my cervix all pregnancy -- there is a lot more blood in the area. Fingers crossed that in a week this is all a bad memory and everything looks perfect!
