36wk cramping makes for a grumpy preggo

I am so over being pregnant and I'm only 36 weeks!
I have been having cramping on and off all day. I didn't go into labor with my first because I had preeclampsia so I have no idea what it feels like to have early signs. I have been ordered to bed rest and can't do anything I want to get done. Rawwrr grumpy preggo

  • I cramped a lot from 35-37 wks. Now not much of anything is going on at 38 wks and he's so high he feels like he's gonna take out my ribs! Oh well!
  • is spaghetti just the pregnant woman's go to meal?
*waits while i twirl a huge mountain of spaghetti on my fork lol*

  • Spaghetti sauce is my nemesis! I got heartburn so bad my esophagus is eroding. Ugh!
  • No to the spaghetti sauce, yes to the spaghetti... And butter.
  • I almost made chicken parmesan tonight with preggo sauce. Instead we grabbed dinner and I had a chicken parmesan sub. I don't know what brand of sauce they use. My chicken parmesan is better because I use preggo. Oh, and I'm almost 38 weeks pregnant.
  • Yeah, spaghetti sauce makes me grumpy too.

  • That is exactly how I also feel.i never had an experience in my first pregnancy. My baby cam at 32 week by emergency c section. This pregnancy I am now 36 week s and I feel like I am done .I am soready for baby. Come
  • I don't see anything wrong with being proud of a low weight gain. I'm a plus sized mom and when the dr told me to only gain 20 lbs I thought it would be impossible after my first pregnancy gain of like 60+. I don't get why the negativity. I think we should celebrate each other's successes. Isn't that what this site is for? It's rude and you're being a bully. If you don't like my posts then don't respond. No one needs that kind of negativity, especially not pregnant. Keep it to yourself if you don't like it.

I had my first son at 36 weeks emergency c section and never had cramping or Braxton hicks or anything. The worst part about it now is having the cramps and Braxton hicks and getting false hope that maybe he's coming sooner!

This line always goes really well on this board.

If you don't like people who don't like your posts to comment...then no one would comment at all to your posts...It would be a sad cycle of silence for you, friend.

And, for the record, thankfully, I didn't see your weight gain post. As someone who struggles with an eating disorder, I think women who are proud of weight and shout from the rooftops to strangers are insensitive. It's like me telling strangers on a sidewalk that I just won a million dollars. No one cares but me, and I probably just made a bunch of strangers feel like shit. Women are WAY too obsessed with a number on a scale. It's fucking sad.

My post isn't meant to be insensitive. I'm all for women being proud of their bodies at any weight. As I mentioned, I'm a plus sized mom. I get it. But there's nothing wrong with be proud of something you worked really hard for. I was hoping I would find some other moms who have struggled with obesity to join the conversation. If my post about weight offends you I think there are bigger problems at hand here.
Clearly this site is mostly full of girls who didn't leave high school and again, like to spread negativity. I would never post anything negative to anyone's posts. What purpose does that serve? Other than just being nasty. I will be leaving the group so as to not fuel that kind of garbage and bring out the worst in people.
  • Sorry to the OP. Seems like people just have to find something to bitch about. Be proud that you didn't gain that much weight- that's awesome! Only people who are jealous would be offended by something so silly .
  • Ohhhhhh yesssssss.
  • People bitching about it is indeed SILLY .
  • This content has been removed.
  • How did this thread become so focused on the weight gain issue? the annoyance in this thread was about the contextually incorrect use of pasta sauce.

That would be my fault! I mentioned op would be used to snark because of the weight post.
I didn't expect her to comment defending the weight thing.
    Sorry!
That's no big deal, I just thought it was interesting how people suddenly started responding just talking about the weight thing. Your point was totally valid. It's all relative.
  • Haha ..this still went on after I went to bed? Wow some people sure feed off drama. Oh, and miss Kaylajade ..you swear as if "WK" would offend me. I wasn't aware that feeling bad for someone who posted something because they are CLEARLY happy for themselves only for it to be completely dismissed and have their post be made a mockery out of is wrong? Strange.
  • Haha. K hun. There's nothing ignorant about it all. You're clearly butt hurt over someone else's accomplishment. So You have fun eating your bom boms and talking shit behind a computer screen for your own enjoyment. What a life you have ;)
  • "What's a bom bom and how do you talk shit behind a computer screen?" -- yikes...are you sure you should be having kids?
  • Guise I'm butt hurt. Guess I'd better GBCB
