FTM and everyday for sure. If DH isn't home I drag the bassinet into the bathroom. The sound of the shower and fan lull her to sleep anyway. But maybe I'm lucky.
Well I feel like a total monster right now. Like @Marchie1214 I can just barely keep up with if I've eaten, much less baths!!! When I was a FTM, I was having super bad PPD and everyday I made myself get up and take a shower, if nothing else. But these days baths are at the very very bottom of my list!!
I shower mostly every day. I discovered that turning in the hair dryer conks him out, so now I pull the RnP and set the hair dryer underneath. Before that nifty discovery, it was getting hard to shower!
Finally! My September Siggy Challenge: TV Show I'll Be Binge Watching
I shower every day. I put DS out on our bed watching some sort of tv show and I put LO next to me in a portable swing so I can see her at all times. It actually works out rather well.
I'm jealous of all you ladies who bring the baby into the bathroom with you. I wish I could do that because I'm sure it would work since LO is soothed by those kind of sounds. We have a huge master bath, but the shower and toilet are behind a separate door (like a mini-room within the bathroom) so there isn't enough space to put LO in there, plus it gets steamed up really fast which I love but wouldn't be good for him.
I've always been a nighttime shower person so these days it depends on when DH is home to keep am eye on LO, what our nursing schedule is that day and how ambitious I'm feeling by the end of the day
Can you put him outside the door and leave it partially opened so he can hear the water and you can hear him?
Before baby I didn't shower every day but I have to now or I smell like sweat and sour milk - probably still so even after the shower. Luckily my in laws live close so my MIL will stop by in the mornings to watch the baby so I can take a quick shower.
One piece of advice I was given prior to LOs arrival was to make sure I shower every day. As a FTM I'm sure this is considered lucky to have that happen. I sneak into the shower shortly after LO falls asleep for one of his many daily naps! Showers make me feel human.

FTM- I've been able to shower every day since I was allowed to in the hospital. DD spits up on me at least once during the night so I feel disgusting if I don't get the smell of sour breast milk off of me.
I am having crazy night sweats too so I am showering every day. And changing the sheets...when is this going to end? I hate waking up shivering and soaking wet!

I have the same set up and this is what I do. He sits right outside the door which I keep wide open then open the shower door on occasion to peek at him.
Stm everyday or every other day. I either bathe by sitting in the tub or stand in the shower. Now washing my hair and shaving is a different story. Let's not go there please.
I am jealous of all those who get a shower everyday and feel like screaming at those of you who get two showers a day! LOL! I barely get one every other day....I hate it when LO screams while I'm in the shower!

You should download the free White Noise Baby app. It has all different sounds including hair dryer. My LO prefers the vacuum cleaner sound.
I'm definitely in the 2-3 times per week category. It doesn't bother me too much because we really don't go anywhere but I love the showers I do get to take without worrying about LO screaming half way through.
FTM that usually showers every other day. Occasionally, I get to shower two days in a row. So far it hasn't been too difficult because DH has been home. He returns back to work tomorrow, so it is yet to be seen how things will go once it's just DD and I home during the day by ourselves.
I voted SS. STM. I shower every day, and most days I'll take a second shower at night. I hate getting into bed without showering first. Now with all these night sweats and pukey baby burps at night, I definitely have to shower in the morning too.
Edit- grammar
What does SS mean? I looked in the glossary, but didn't see it. It's probably something obvious but it's not coming to me. Help!
We just brought our son home on Tuesday but I've had a morning shower wed and thurs. I feed him and then my husband holds him while I shower very quickly haha not sure what will happen when my husband goes back to work!
At least once a day usually twice! I used to be able to go a day or two without a shower but since getting home from the hospital, even though I'm usually on the couch all day, I feel disgusting! I feel so stinky postpartum, no matter how much deodorant I put on, or how many times I brush my teeth a day. I just feel greasy and unclean! And hot showers are the only thing that helps my body aches from my cranky finicky nurser.
I voted 2-3x/week, but that's nothing new. I think I've actually managed every other day since coming home, since I'm taking the opportunity when it's there, while before I'd usually pick sleep over a shower. Today was my first solo shower - Z napped in the RNP no problem. Unfortunately I forgot, without my glasses I can't really see facial expressions at that distance.
