    I am so glad that I got a pie craving last weekend and caved by making an apple pie. This thread made me want some more pie though. Good think Canadian thanksgiving is next weekend and I can have apple and pumpkin pie again. Mmmmm

    DH makes his own fruit pie filings and jams on the stove top mmmm heaven!
    Now I am craving fruit tarts from whole foods and a tart key lime pie also sounds heavenly!

    The marionberry is a type of blackberry that is grown mostly in Oregon, I think there's some in WA too. They are the best kind of blackberry. The PNW has the best fruit varieties. Marionberries and Rainier Cherries are both the shit
    HAHA, I didn't know that a marionberry was a real thing and totally thought you meant this guy.  Maybe the MD/VA/DC ladies will remember him?
