Is it just me or are Panera Bread's portions going way down and their prices going up?!?
My H is gone tonight, so I picked up Panera Bread for myself since I didn't feel like cooking. The total was $9 for a half sandwich and half salad.
I wish I would have taken a pic of it before I devoured it. The sandwich was literally like 5 bites, and the salad was a few wilted pieces I lettuce and 3 croutons. Hmph! I guess this is why I shouldn't get fast food!
Re: Totally NBR or important at all; Panera Bread
I feel like a lot of places cut down on portions while keeping the prices the same or raising them! I haven't been to Panera since maybe early this year with DS.

Hmmmm...that's interesting to know that everything is supposed to be measured to the same size.
I think part of the problem was that I ordered it to-go through the drive through. Everything was packaged separately in a box instead of plated nicely together. When a sandwich is thrown by itself into a box much larger than it, and it just slides around, it looks so small and wimpy.
I still think that the prices are going up. $9 was too expensive for what I got IMO.
