Abdominal muscle separation...

Have any of you ladies experienced abdominal muscle separation (diastasis recti)? If so, what did (or are you doing) to fix the separation?

  • Find a physical therapist who specializes in Women's Health.

  • I also had really bad diastis recti, there are exercises on YouTube but you need to strengthen your core. Lots of planks, pilates etc nothing that makes you ab muscles bulge like sit UPS or crunches as that will make separation bigger/not close and push your inside through creating the mommy pouch. A trainer told me it can take upp to 18 months to heal
