Currently a student and very P/T wedding coordinator.
@Tulips114 - I went back to school for accounting. If I do find a job in the accounting field I would love to work for a local school district, so jealous!
@CrazyCupcake52 I got really lucky in finding this job. Can't beat the hours and holidays. We get all the same time off as the schools (Thanksgiving, Christmas, Spring break, etc). I do have to work in the summer though. And I don't make as much as I could if I were still in public accounting, but it's totally worth it!
Definitely keep an eye on your district's HR website. That's how I found this job!
It's not quite so glamorous as what I've been reading, but I'm a server at Dave & Buster's. I have yet to find my passion, but I like my job and it pays pretty well. I'll probably end up a SAHM for a few years after this one comes, so maybe I'll figure something out and go to school then.
I'm a fitness professional who trains and coaches during the week and travels around the US and Canada teaching fitness certifications and speaking at conferences on the weekends. I'm looking forward to slowing down (at least the work life) a bit in 8ish months! If anybody needs any pregnancy fitness advise let me know!
