  mmm my grandma always makes an ice cream cookie cake (pretty much a heart attack in a pan) for Thanksgiving and Christmas. I am also a HUGE fan of a cookie cake. I used to ask for one for my birthday when I was a kid.

  Today I am making a wedding cake! It's for a small family reception tomorrow and I'm praying the decorating part goes well. It's a Guinness chocolate cake with raspberry cream filling and a hopefully sculptural chocolate wrapping.

  My birthday was Wednesday and I've eaten 3 pieces of cake a day every day since and plan on continuing till the cake is gone. Chocolate buttercream with vanilla cake and sprinkles omnomnomnom. Shout out to all the libras on the board!

  There is also a Sandra Lee recipe that is chocolate cake covered in ganache, a layer of ice cream, then another chocolate cake covered in ganache. I like using mint chocolate chip ice cream or peppermint at Christmas time.

  Cake sounds so good! But I know it will just make me nauseous and want to vomit. I had blueberry cobbler yesterday for lunch...bad idea. Spent the afternoon curled up in a ball.

  Ok I'm coming late to this party because I took a 3 day bump break, but I definitely thought this thread was gonna be about ebola, and I was all like "Yes! Thank you! Everyone needs to calm down!! "

  .....Then I read it and was like...oh.this again. At least I have enjoyed the cake pictures. 

  Now I want cake.

  Man I'm late! Stupid work kept me busy these past 2 days! Speaking of cake I made s'mores cupcakes! Omgggggg they were delish I had to buy another box. This will be baking tomorrow.

  I just got home from my weekly grocery shopping trip. I bought Breyer's Birthday Blast ice cream (aka funfetti ice cream). DH just looked at it & said, "this is The Bump's fault, isn't it?"

  Dairy Queen has the best ice cream cakes. The fudgy crunchy center is the best thing ever. I'd eat a cup of that. But I also enjoy funfetti.
