This is kind of UO meets FFFC: Before I had kids I did not have a lot of respect for SAHM. I thought they had the easiest job. Watch the kids, do whatever you want, whenever you want. I could not have been anymore wrong!!!

Occasionally baby girls wearing headbands or bows is cute, but I mostly find it strange. I have no idea why. Maybe I would feel differently if I had a girl. :-/

I like DD in head-wraps because 1) I don't dress her in a lot of pink so everyone thinks she is a boy. 2) Her name is Emerson and everyone thinks she is a boy
But I hate all the GIANT bows. Whyyyyy????
M14 January Siggy Challenge: Resolution I have no intention of keeping...SHOPPING LESS!
I meant the book. I have no interest in the movie. Not that I'd actually have time to go see it.... @bazingaa I have no life that doesn't involve work or LO!
I think it's like any craft fair or flea market. It really depends on the seller. I agree that some things are ridiculously priced, but there is some good stuff on there. Which I am unable to get elsewhere.
Etsy is AWESOME!!! The shipping charges are what kills me! You find something cheap and shipping cost more than the item!!

I like headbands WITH bows(not large bows tho) , but I cannot stand putting a headband without a bow of some sort on her head. Its looks like a piece of elastic squeezing her head or she looks like she should be in a workout video with a sweatband on. I do put bows on her a lot though, mainly because my LO has a huge cowlick right in the front of her head which causes her hair to stick up straight, so I hide it with a bow.
I don't care for blogs. Most feed self-importance IMO. I know girls who have them and put so much of their and their children's lives out there. It just seems wrong and a bit grandiose.
I hate, with a passion, leggings! They are so wrong and no one should wear them. Also, Uggs. When will they go away? So ugly in my opinion.
I agree. Esp about the Uggs. When I was in Berkeley I saw a girl wearing them in July on campus.
I hate leggings and skinny jeans. I used to hate Uggs, until I got some and they are soooo ugly but sooo comfortable - though I would never wear them over my pants. I also hate boots over jeans
WHAT?! I love my boots more than my husband and they will not live under a denim shroud.
My mobile bumping is going crazy...sorry if I accidentally flagged u...I was trying to love totally because I totally agree! I was a fan of regretsy when it was still up and it shone a cold harsh light on etsy. I would rather just wait for summer art festivals here than give etsy more money.
I am currently wearing skinny jean leggings with Uggs, sipping my pumpkin spice latte while I order big bow headbands off Etsy. And DD is taking a nap unattended in the car.

Whew... That makes me feel better. Neither do I lol
I like Seth Rogan, Adam Sandler and Vince Vaughn seth Rogan is really funny in knocked up... "I thought you were wearing a dental dam or something" haha
@lica001 agreed! I didn't think being a SAHM was easy before, but I thought it was preferable to working... Now I'm not so sure what I would choose if I had a choice. Part time seems ideal!
Actually it has been found that part time working moms are happier than both SAHMs and full time working moms.
@becole42 agreed to missing movies. The last one I saw was the batman with the scary funny breathing masked villian...I slept through it (that may have been a giveaway considering my description of the movie).
And uggs in summer with shorts or a skirt always make me cringe. If it's cold, have at it though!

I am right there with you but I've never ventured into the head wraps. I think I might actually like those. Where do you get cute ones?
Etsy. Lol.
I'll PM you tomorrow with the shop I bought DD's from.

We've had people think dd was a boy even when she was wearing pink! But I can't stand the headbands, leaves a indent on her head
I hate when DD is in pink and I hear someone say "look at the baby, he is so cute" when we are out in public. I was ok with it at first but now its just annoying!

I'm a special snowflake. I work part-time, but bring DD to work with me (family owned company) so basically SAHM and I'm going CRAZY!!!! DH has split personalities cause he tells me to get a big Girl job but then the next day to quit my job and basically be a broodmare.

No way! I love my leggings and my skinny jeans. And I wear boots over them all the time. I pretty much love all of my pants that I can wear my boots over in the fall and winter. I have skinny legs so I like to think the boots "beef" them up.
I love watching soap operas and I'm super mad that they've replaced most of them with stupid talk shows. Take me to Pine Valley and let me tango with Ryan Lavery any day.
Considering what some of you have said, then I guess this is my UO: I can't wait to see Gone Girl on Saturday! And I feel like I could be buddies with both Ben Affleck and Matt Damon. They seem fun to me!

Pumpkin spice lattes, m&ms, all the other crap out there does not have pumpkin. All these things are terrible (unless they contain PUMPKIN).
Thats all Ive got so far!
I hate everything pumpkin. I think it's the grossest thing I've ever tasted. This. Also I HATE when you walk into the grocery store (or any store) and they've loaded the front area with all things pumpkin spice smelling. GAG! I hate when they also do this with holiday spice/cinnamon pinecones and shit. Makes me want to turn around and leave Edited: oops
I live in leggings and jeggings. Loafers and ballet flats are my shoes of choice. The top I am wearing is probably grey, slouchy, maybe sweatshirt material. Call me a hipster. I don't care.
My biggest issue with leggings is that I can see through many of them and they many times they just don't look good from the back. Skinny jeans are ok, not my thing but I don't mind them.
Also, juicy couture is gross. Any and all of it.
I lived in my juicy couture sweat pants while I was pregnant. So comfy!! Don't get me wrong, I would never wear them out of the house but on days when I felt fat and sick, they were a godsent.
Re: UO
I love all things pumpkin/pumpkin spiced...I would love to work part time....and I am a chevron fan. Does this make me popular or unpopular?
PS these are tame. Should we talk about leaving kids in cars unattended like Parenting? Ha jk.
I could live on avocado and guacamole. In fact I pretty much did when m/s was bad during my pregnancy.
I hated Gone Girl. I found it so boring.
I don't care for George Clooney. He's handsome, obviously, but his smug grin makes him come off arrogant and untrustworthy to me.

My UO: I like to see baby girl's face when she cries. I think she looks adorable. Her crying never bothers me unless she's in pain (rare).
However I never let her cry for my pleasure and I always soothe her as quickly as I can.

When I was in college I saw a girl working out on a treadmill wearing Uggs. No.
I love Uggs. They are like outside-appropriate slippers.
And uggs in summer with shorts or a skirt always make me cringe. If it's cold, have at it though!
