Weight loss ladies! (10/2)

How's it going? How did everyone do with the soda cutdown challenge?

New Challenge: Mix It Up!
Try something new this week! Go to a class at the gym that you've never done, find a video on Netflix of a type of workout you'd like to try. There are so many options...yoga, Pilates, kickboxing, spinning, aqua aerobics, Zumba...Shake up your routine a little, and tell us how you liked it!

Also, per @diapersnwipes‌ suggestion - It's the beginning of a new month. Set a personal goal for yourself! Do you have a weightlifting goal? A distance to run? Heck, even a goal to just get to the gym twice a week? Let us know what your goal is!

  • I really need to weigh myself. I just hate the scale and love to go by how I'm feeling and my clothes fit. But I am curious as to the number.

    Been going to the gym every morning- 2 mile run followed by HIIT and lifting.
    I like the schedule I have and plan to stick to it.

    M-F morning workout
    Saturday- evening workout
    Sunday- rest day

    Been eating fine. Hitting within my goal calorie range.

    Pre-bagging snacks so I don't over do it has helped A LOT!
  • I did not see a soda cutdown challenge.

    I am back on track with food & eating right now.  I started a 60 day Piyo challenge on Tuesday.  I am 3 days in and so sore!  I have also ran/walked 10 miles in the past 2 days as well.  I have a 10k on Saturday.  But we also are going to a concert Saturday night and having A's family B-day party on Friday night.
  • I was up .2 on Tuesday. Not too bad for how poorly we have been eating and how little I have been working out since school started a month ago.

    My goal for October is to workout 2 days a week. I'd like to lose 3-4 pounds too.

  • I did great with the soda challenge but to be honest, I almost never drink soda lol. 

    I am trying my best to work on my eating this month. To make my goal measurable, I want to enter my food into myfitnesspal at least 25 days this month. 

    Congrats to everyone who lost weight or maintained this week!
