    I don't think Amal is that beautiful. what i do think is awesome is how she is a top legal mind. I bet that was the turn on for Clooney, after all those pretty Hollywood actresses who were just pretty faces. 

    To clarify i know many women who are both pretty and smart (myself included).

    I am with you @74dragonfly‌! My UO: This weekend is ACL, and I have zero desire to go. For me, enjoying great live music with friends does not trump crowds, lines, and nasty porta potties. And I know this is an UO because over 100,000 people shelled out $200+ to go!

    I agree. My FIL tried to tag a bunch of people on my kids photo and I was like NEWP.

    I'm so with you on that, but my sister goes every year. I live north and try to avoid going south of 38th street ACL weekend(s) and during SXSW.

    This drives me insane.  My mom used to do this to pics that I would post because she thought it was the only way she could show her friends and our family my pics (until she discovered the share button).  I also have a cousin who posts on FB at least 10x/day, and tags me and every one of our relatives every time she posts a picture of her son that she wants us to see.

    Oh yea. I have no doubt as a toddler she will go through a tutu phase where that's ALL she wants to wear. A lot of my friends have little girls in this phase now. That's fine and I know it will be adorable. But for now while I'M still in charge (which won't be for long) it's just NMS.

    ETA: there's a mom in my local moms group who has a 4 year old daughter obsessed with wearing a bridal veil. We had a park play date and was playing football with a group of boys while wearing the veil. It was awesome!

    I am this way with bows. I think DD is beautiful with just herself and her little peach fuzz hair.
    I've never put a bow on either.  When a stranger says "Wow, what a cute little boy!" I just say thanks.  I would use a clip if she had hair but she doesn't.  I don't like the giant bows that take up half of the babies' head.

    I feel the same way.  My sister is only 3 years younger than me and I find her experiences growing up drastically different from mine.

    I agree. I don't have cable so I can't keep up any more. I get so frustrated at social events where all people talk about it what's on tv. Isn't there anything else to talk about?! I get especially annoyed when people who know I don't have cable ask me if I saw the new episode of blah blah blah last night!!!!!

    So this! My brother is 5 years younger than me (he was born in 1985) and it feels like he is part of a completely different generation. DH was born in 74, and we have pretty similar experiences, both childhood and adult. Aside from Internet and cell phones becoming more widespread, parents seemed to get much more concerned with safety in the late 90's.

    Agree with the tutu opinion..(I've expressed before bows aren't my thing either) .  

    I do feel like I     should put a tutu on her just once, just to SEE if I change my mind.  I mean, it's possible I'd like it... I always hated pink, and didn't think I'd buy a lot of pink for LO but Ha! I buy so much pink for her, I love it.. I was surprised!

    In short, I kind of wonder if I'd like a tutu but I won't buy one to find out.

    *I HAVE tried bows, nope.
