  • @Jellybean813  That's so exciting!

Baby is trying to stretch his way out.  There's not enough room for that kind of movement anymore.  DS1 was born at 38wks, so I'm kind of hoping today is the day.

  • Wide awake at 4:30, woke at 3:30 to potty. Mind please shut off, we have to work in the morning.!!!
  • More like still up for me. I shaved my legs and I kind of felt like zorro just waving a razor around hoping to hit my target.
Good for you for trying! Every night I plan to do it and every night I'm just too damn tired.

  • Trying to decide if these contractions are the real thing.  5 minutes apart for the last 45 minutes.  I haven't woken up DH yet, since his alarm should go off soon.

  • I am losing my mind. We finally moved back into our remodeled home about a week and 1/2 ago. Yesterday was final inspections and the contractors missed a lot. They are going to have to completely redo our stairs, redo our fireplace surround and there are a million little things that have yet to be done.

I am on a reduced work schedule due to high BP and am coming home to a construction zone every day. Which, of course, doesn't help the stress levels.

If my BP gets any higher, they may take the baby at 39 weeks which is a week from Saturday. I do not want to bring my baby home to a construction zone.

I can't sleep and feel nauseous about all of this. I just don't know what to do. I love my husband but he is the most laid back person ever and is like, it will work out. We will make it work. It will be OK. Uggggg. I need him to be pissed and going off on contractors right now. Not telling me it will all be ok.

Sorry for the rant. I really needed to bitch for a minute.
  • @ariel06. Good luck! I hope it's the real deal!
  • @crawford411‌ How exciting! Maybe your hulk uterus is finally ready to go! Fingers crossed!
  • Yay first page! I napped in the evening, and woke up at 11pm abs have been up since then (its 4am here). I'm about to head back to sleep (hopefully).

@crawford411‌ eee!!! This could be the real deal! Excited for you!
  • Good luck to all you lucky notches that may be having a baby today! I think today is my LB's induction but I haven't heard from her. @JJsMum‌ what's the status of your ute?!

  • @Jellybean813‌ congrats! Hopefully labor will get going a little quicker soon. I think you are having a boy. :-bd I'm surprised how many people are having their water break on it's own. I thought statistically this was rare.
I'm seriously debating just bringing a towel with me everywhere. Friends invited us over for football on Sunday and I'm so worried my water will break on their expensive sofa that I might just decline their invite.

  • Anyone else thats nursing, do you have a boob that just wont cooperate?

For whatever reason, my left has decided that its not going to get with the program. It always seems to be the leaky, sore, sometimes a little overfull one. The right is having no problems.

No advice, but I've had a recurring dream this entire pregnancy that my right boob just doesn't work. FX your left one gets it's act together soon!

  • We're at T minus 25 hours before I go have this big boy... he's HUGE compared to his sisters (and DD#3 was over 40 weeks)

It's so bittersweet. I'm OVER being pregnant but at the same time knowing this is the last day I'll EVER be pregnant is bizarre. I've spent the past 5.5 years pregnant, breastfeeding or both and it's the strangest feeling to be on the downhill slope to being done with this part of my life (I know I'm going to nurse him for a year but it's still getting there!!).

Is anyone else having their tubes tied with this baby (especially momma's who have had their little ones already)? Just seeing if it changed much with your recoveries...

Absolutely in love with our 'big' family!

I'm also a proud Auntie to a crazy little girl, her brand new baby sister, a little man on his way in the next month, and a sweet little mister we will miss forever!!!

Agreed. I had thought it was rare too. I'm happy to welcome  water break any time now....even while I'm at work. Seriously....something needs to get moving down there!! lol - I was due Monday!

  • I ended up leaving work around 7:15. Im having contractions every 4 minutes or so with spotting and cramping. I called my OB and she told me to lie down for an hour and go in if they are still that frequent. She is as cautious about hulk uterus trickery as I am at this point. I'm in bed now with DH, feeling excited, sleepy, and surprisingly calm. My biggest worry is when to call my mom to come from Cincinnati, 2 hours away. I'll probably wait until labor is definite. @golfingdarwinfish‌ Would you PM me with either a cell number I can text or an email address?
    @crawford411

    YGPM! :)
